This looks like a good spot to fade the LA Clippers as they're in a let down spot, coming off a 123-112 upset win as a 12.5-point underdog at Boston Saturday night and fatigue might be an issue here in the finale of a six-game road trip.
The Minnesota Timberwolves on the other hand will be desperate for a victory following four straight defeats, and they'll be well rested after getting the weekend off since after a loss at New Orleans Friday night.
Wolves point guard Jeff Teague returned against New Orleans after missing the previous eight games with an ankle injury and should give them a boost. "We got to go on a streak and make a run at it," Teague said. "Right now, we've just got to get some guys healthy. A lot of guys are out, some of our main players. Hopefully, we can get some guys back and just try to make a run at it.
As extra fuel to the fire we can note that Minnesota will be seeking revenge for a 120-109 road loss at LA Clippers on Nov. 5.

Oklahoma City is playing their best basketball of the season and they are coming off one of their most amazing games of the season with the big comeback at Houston. This team is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games so the oddsmakers are behind the hot play of this Thunder team. Portland has been playing well but they have had a home-heavy schedule, and they are just 10-13 SU on the road this season. Portland is a very good team but we just don’t think they can compete away from home against a Thunder team that is so dialed in right now. The Thunder have won and covered in both meetings this season, and we think they make it three-for-three on Monday.

I'll take my chances here with OKC covering the 6-point spread at home against the Blazers. This might seem like a big number for the Thunder to be laying against a Portland team that has gone 11-5 in their last 16 games. However, the Blazers are in a tough scheduling spot here. Portland had to play at Dallas yesterday and in that game they blew a 15-point lead in the final 10 minutes of a 102-101 defeat. Losing like that is not easy to bounce back from, especially on no rest and a big time lookahead matchup with the Warriors at home on Wednesday. Thunder are also heading into the All-Star break on an absolute tear. OKC has won 3 straight and 10 of 11 overall. The only loss coming at Boston by a mere 5-points. With Russell Westbrook having a chance to make history with his 10th consecutive triple-double, we can bank on the Thunder coming to play. Give me OKC -6!

These two teams should have no problem eclipsing the total set by the books. Chicago is playing as well offensively as they have in a while. Bulls scored 125 points on back-to-back nights and have scored 118+ in 4 straight, while shooting 50% or better from the field in 6 consecutive games.
Not only is Chicago putting up a bunch of points, they are allowing their opponents to light up the scoreboard. Bulls have allowed 125 or more in 3 of their last 4, all 3 of those their opponents shot 52% or better.
Milwaukee comes in off a mere 83-points in a blowout loss at home to the Magic, but that was with Giannis Antetokoumpo resting in the second game of a back-to-back. He's expected back in the lineup and the Bucks had scored 113 or more in each of their previous 4, twice hitting the 130 mark, including 148 at home against the Wizards.
These two teams have played twice already, both way back in November, and each of those saw at least 227 points. OVER is also 5-1 in the Bulls last 6 vs a team that's won more than 60% of their games and 21-9 in the Bucks last 30 road games vs a team that's won fewer than 40% of their home games. The Denver Nuggets come in highly motivated for a victory tonight. They have lost three straight for just the second time this season, but all three losses were on the road. They have two days’ rest to get ready for the Miami Heat after last playing on Friday.
The Miami Heat are in an awful spot tonight. They are coming off a heartbreaking 118-120 loss at Golden State last night. I fully expect them to suffer a hangover from that defeat. Not to mention, they’ll now be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 3rd road game in 4 days.
Making this spot even worse for the Heat is the fact that they’ll be playing in altitude now in Denver, which is something they’re clearly not used to. It will take its toll on them physically, and I expect the Nuggets to run them out of the building.
