The Lightning are the best team in the NHL, while the Golden Knights have been a hit-or-miss proposition, lately miss lately as the losers of four straight. My projection model is all over Tampa here, especially at this price. It's winning nearly 70 percent of my computer simulations, which presents great value at -150.

Michigan State is a profit-making 16-4 against the spread when favored, including eight of nine on the road. My projections believe the Spartans are more likely to win by 20 than by 10. They've dropped two in a row, but that shouldn't matter against an Illini team that is 1-2 ATS as a double-digit underdog. Sparty covers in nearly 75 percent of my simulations, a huge number.

The Sixers have won seven of 10, and Tuesday host a Raptors team that's a subpar 10-16 against the spread on the road, and a bizarre 15-28 ATS with a day off between games. My projections really like the matchups for Philly on the floor. Take the home team here. I like the Over on this one, too.

The Thunder had their seven-game win streak (and 6-1 ATS run) snapped on Sunday in Boston, but my projections see a big bounce-back here. OKC wins by an average of 16 points in my computer simulations, and cover this sizeable spread 65 percent of the time. Jump on the Thunder.
