The Rockets have won three in a row, but the Thunder have won nine of 10 and covered in eight of those. My projections not only see OKC covering, but winning outright. Take the points in the case of a last-shot instance.

Atlanta has the worst-ranked defense in the NBA, but its offense is improving. Against a Hornets team that's mediocre on both sides of the ball, that sets up for a good Over opportunity with two teams that already lean that way more often than not. The Over hits in two-thirds of my computer simulations as well.

San Antonio is also a rock-solid 15-6 against the spread against teams with a .550 win percentage or higher. Conversely, Utah is 9-15 ATS under the same stat window. San Antonio is also 16-11 against the spread as an underdog. And my projections like those trends to continue -- the Spurs are covering in nearly 60 percent of my computer simulations at this price.
