EASTER SNAP - Have to give this gelding a fair chance. Ran a solid effort last time out within the last 30 days. Jock jumped on this gelding's back for the first try on February 13th. Should be in tune with the equine even better in today's race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 PAULA'S BUDDY (ML=9/5), #1 SAINT MISSILE (ML=3/1), #3 GRADYZ KAT (ML=9/2),

PAULA'S BUDDY - This gelding has already been thwarted as the public's top choice twice in a row. Hard to give him another chance. Not a value play to back the public's top choice when he continues to lose time and time again when favored. SAINT MISSILE - Would have to perk up off that sixth place finish last time to make an impact here. Finished sixth in his most recent race with a mediocre speed figure. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this field. GRADYZ KAT - This gelding earned a fig in his last race which likely isn't good enough today.

SAY IT SWEETLY - Reed seems to have this filly primed for a big effort. Her workout pattern is outstanding. A solid handicapping angle is Lasix for the first time. Reed gives it to this one for this event.

NEVERGONNAHAPPEN - This questionable contender ran a pedestrian speed figure in the last race. She shouldn't run much better and will probably lose in today's race running that rating. LOVE CHILD - This horse hasn't shown much in the last couple of races. FILLY RIDE - The seventh place finish in the last event was not the best. Don't believe this vulnerable equine will do much running in today's event. That last speed fig was most unsatisfactory when compared with today's class rating.

Had one of the best Equibase Speed Figures of this group of animals in his last contest. FIRST SHOT - Looks formidable for the conditions of this race today, showing solid numbers in dirt route races lately. Must be given a shot here on the basis of the figures in the speed section alone.

SUNSHINE SMILES - Loza has this filly travelling well and is a respectable pick based on the quite good speed figures garnered in sprint races recently.
