Paul Leiner:Sorry guys, that was as bad a beat that I can remember. A blown layup late that would have given us the over and throw in 7 missed foul shots overall the last two minutes. Still in disbelief that the Baylor/K State over missed. Got to move on get back on track. Thanks and goodluck.

        Sunday Selection -
My 75 Dime selection is on Boston College over Georgia Tech. The current line on this game is BC +1 1/2 in Vegas and offshore at 8:00 am eastern time. Be sure to shop around for the best price available.

        ANALYSIS

Like what I am seeing from the road team here.

Jim Christian and his Boston College Eagles have been playing very competitive basketball since their 80-70 loss at Louisville on January 16th.

They may only be 5-6 SU but of those 6 losses only 1 can be considered a "BAD" loss at that was at Duke 80-55.

I watched that entire game and quite frankly was impressed by BC.

They led Duke at the half 30-28 and it was still a 10-point game with 12 minutes to go before the Blue Devils pulled away late.

The other 5 losses were all single digit games with less than 5 minutes to go.

They are coming off one of their best efforts of the year, a 66-59 upset win at home over Louisville as a 5 1/2 point dog.

Enjoy watching the BC backcourt today of Ky Bowman and Jordan Chatman because they will be the difference along with 6'11 forward Nik Popovic.

They will have their way with a Georgia Tech team that quite frankly, just can't get out of their own way.

After their 30-point beat down last Wednesday at Virginia, this Yellow Jackets bunch has now lost 11 of their last 13 overall.

        The problems are plentiful.

Tech is 283rd in the nation in rebounding margin and 301st in turnovers per game.

They are average 64.7 points per game (329th nationally) and 43.1 % from the field (248th nationally).

This is a lost season for head coach Josh Pastner and in a game with 2 teams clearly headed in opposite directions, I will gladly take the points with the one headed the right way.

BC rolls to another solid road win.

                    Tom Fornelli

                    East Carolina +10.5

Tulsa has done better in conference play than East Carolina has, going 7-9 while the Pirates are only 3-12. If you look closer though, while the records are a lot different, the overall performance isn't that much different. Both of these teams have been horrible on offense, and while Tulsa's defense has been better than ECU's, I don't think it's been better enough to trust it with this spread.

                              DePaul +1.5
This season especially, the public is underestimating DePaul. This afternoon we fade 64 percent of the public and back the Blue Demons. Earlier this season, DePaul beat the Red Storm on the road by eight despite being six point 'dogs. I am confident the wrong team is favored Sunday afternoon. Look for DePaul to cover six out of their last seven against St. John’s.

                              Tulane +17
Let’s face it, Tulane is a tough team to back. Entering game 28 and having only covered 10 of them, the Green Wave are stuck within a conference they don’t belong. Despite the Green Wave having such a rough record against the spread, they do match up well against the Owls, who've covered four out of their last five matchups. Tulane will lose its 18th in a row, but will stay within the number.
