Despite the records (Charleston 24-8, NE 21-10) you have the better team playing with revenge from an OT loss in LY’s CAA Finals! The Cougars played a very weak non-conf schedule going 11-2 but in CAA action they were +4.5 PPG while Northeastern was +9.4 PPG. The Huskies have the better offensive and defensive efficiencies and in just their last game they returned two players who have been injured. Shawn Occeus is an added boost as he came into this season as a 2 yr starter, missed basically the first 11 games started 7 games then missed the last 9 before playing 16 minutes yesterday.

I will continue to play Chicago games over the total. I did not play their game with Dallas over the total because Dallas plays great defense. However, I will come right back with the over tonight against Arizona. Chicago is playing a wide open style of hockey at the moment and it is producing a lot of goals at both ends of the ice. Prior to the Dallas game, they had played in 16 straight games that had gone over the total of 6.5 goals. Simply put: they are creating scoring opportunities and giving up scoring opportunities. Arizona played in Chicago once this season and they netted four goals. I look for them to score at least three goals tonight and I look for Chicago to do the same. I look for a really high scoring game and I look for this one to sail over the total.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been struggling a bit and probably can't wait for the regular season to end. OKC has split their last 4 games and have dropped 6 out 8 and tonight in Salt Lake City I see the Jazz holding home court. The Jazz last home they lost to the Pelicans 115-112 so look for a much focus Jazz team tonight and I don't see the Jazz dropping two straight home games. OKC is 1-8 ATS against Western Conference opponents and the Thunder are 1-5 ATS last 6-road games. Utah is 16-5-1 ATS following a ATS loss.
