This gelding likes to stalk the pace and the way things shape up here, he should get a perfect trip. Have to give this gelding a shot. Ran a sharp outing in the last race within the last 30 days. ZAPPED - A pony coming back this soon after a strong outing is a good sign. Have to like this gelding today. If you take a look at his PP lines you see a definite trend, getting closer with every race. Horse has improved at least two speed rating points in last two races. I look for that positive trend to continue right here. Ranked at the top in earnings per start. Another sign that this animal has class. WE WILL SHINE - This gelding is very reliable, frequently finishing in the money. This pony coming off a good performance in the last 30 days is a serious competitor in my opinion. DRAGSTER - I have to like this gelding's likelihood of winning at the shorter distance. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run his best in the 3rd or 4th start back. LIBERTY VALANCE - Faced tougher last out at Mahoning Valley Race Cour. Based on class figures, this is a weaker bunch, so I will put this animal on my list of top contenders. This animal is uppermost in EPS (earnings per start). He looks solid in today's event. This gelding is in nice condition. Ended up second on February 9th.
