The Columbus Blue Jackets look like a solid home favorite here against the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night.

The Canes are in a letdown spot following back-to-back road wins at Nashville and Colorado. This will be the finale of a three-game road trip and odds are they're already looking ahead to their upcoming four-game homestand.

Columbus on the other hand will play its last home game before heading out on a four-game trek. It must make the most of home-ice advantage here to keep pace in the tight Eastern Conference playoff race.

The Canes have been red hot on the road since the All Star break, but I think they'll come up short here.

The Pac-12 was way down again this season. If there is one decent team in the conference, though, it's Washington. I don't see Colorado getting past the Huskies.

The Buffaloes can't solve Washington's tough zone defense. The Huskies are the best team in the Pac-12 because of their league-leading defense giving up 62.3 points a game and ranking No. 2 in the conference in defensive field goal percentage and 3-point defense.

The Huskies are 4-0 SU and ATS versus the Buffaloes the past two seasons. Washington has won these games by an average of 12 points holding the Buffaloes to an average of 61.5 points a game during this span.

Duke comes into this one after dropping both games to UNC this season. Zion Williamson essentially played in zero of the matchups this season as he went down in the first 30 seconds of game 1 and missed game 2.

His return saw Duke just dominate Syracuse, as he went off with a stellar performance.

This Duke team seems to just play with so much more energy when Williamson is in the lineup. The supporting cast came out in a big way in Duke's win over Syracuse Thursday and we should see some very inspired play here today from them.

Some trends to note. Tar Heels are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games. Blue Devils are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Friday games.

Nobody on this Duke team wants to lose 3 times to Carolina. Look for them to come out firing here.

With Virginia, comes relatively low totals. Despite that, this is a game where we could see things open up.

Both teams were forced to battle in their opening game on Thursday, as we saw a lot of pace and back and forth. With that in mind, we should actually see a lot of that same pace here.

Florida State knows they have to turn this one into a high scoring game. You simply cannot beat Virginia playing their slow style. The Seminoles love to attack early in the shot clock and we should see them try to force that tempo up here.

Virginia has put up at least 73 points in 5 straight games. If they come near that number here, this Over will have no issues hitting.

Look for a quick tempo from both sides.

The Wizards have tremendous value here.

Washington plays much better at home versus on the road for starters. The offensive numbers are much better on the home side of the splits, as they have really found their form as of late.

The Wizards come in with nice momentum too, as they’ve gone 2-0 to start this homestand, which includes holding Orlando to just 90 points.

The biggest key for them continues to be the contributions from a lot of different players on the floor, as Bradley Beal continues to set the tone. This team has fed off his energy and they seem to really work well when he’s in his groove.

The Hornets limp in as they have dropped 2 straight and 12 of their last 16 overall. Look for the struggles to continue here, as they simply cannot keep up with this attack.

Kansas State has leaned on their defense all season long, but have struggled with teams who play quick. Iowa State loves to push the tempo and that will be a huge issue for Kansas State here on Friday.

Overall Iowa State outplayed Kansas State this year in their head to head battles. While Kansas State took one of the matchups by 1, the Cyclones responded with a 14 point win in Manhattan. Iowa State is just not a good matchup for this slow paced Wildcats team.

After a dominant performance against the Razorbacks in the opening round, Florida looks to avenge an overtime loss to LSU from a few weeks back. Both of the meetings between these two teams saw overtime, as they split the pair.

Florida matches up extremely well with LSU, as they can go toe to toe with them in every facet.

Look for this to be a physical contest, one where Florida where really look to attack the paint. If their inside game gets going early, it will open up things for their shooters, resulting in a long night for the Tigers.

Oregon is the now team as everyone is jumping on their bandwagon as they have won 6 in a row including smoking Arizona St 79-51. It must be noted that 2 of the 6 wins were against Washington St who is horrid. In the Arizona St win it must be noted that Arizona St had already beaten Oregon by 12 earlier in the year. Arizona St won 6 of their last 7 games with the only loss coming against Oregon. In that loss they shot just 32% for the game and from 3 they were just 3 of 24. It would be nearly impossible to play any worse than Arizona St did in the loss. Tonight will be a different story as Arizona St is 16-7 ATS following 2 or more wins the last 2 seasons. Arizona St is also a perfect 7-0 ATS following a game they led by 15 or more at halftime the last 2 years. Arizona St is the forgotten team in the Conference and quite frankly might be the best in Conference. I feel Arizona St should be the favorite here.
