3 Units - Houston (-117) vs NY Yankees *7:40 EST
So far the Astros have swept NY 2-0 in this series, and NY is the walking wounded with many key players out, Luis Servino just got listed as out 6 weeks and that is another blow. Cheap line for Houston here at home on a roll and they get McHugh(2.45 ERA) on the hill who has given up 6 hits in 11 innings this season and a 0.91 WHIP facing Paxton (4.09 ERA) for NY tonight who is a southpaw and Houston is hitting southpaws at .364 as a team the last 5 games and hitting .309 as a team overall their last 5. Add in the fact the Yankee bullpen their last 5 games has a 4.91 ERA versus the Astros bullpen's 2.35.
2 Units - RUNLINE #965 Rays (-105) over Chicago White Sox *2:10 EST
Early Start!
Tampa Bay has whipped the White Sox twice and expect more of the same today. The Rays have Sox pitching figured out and Pale Hose pitcher Reynaldo Lopez in two starts has pitched nine innings, allowing 10 runs, 12 hits and walked eight. That sure sounds like more Rays runs to me. Let's also understand what the oddsmakers are thinking. The Rays are around a -165 ML favorite and normally on the run line, they would be +120 to +130, instead they are -105, which means they are trying to discourage you from betting the RL. Pound Tampa Bay on the Runline.
2 Units - #961 Pirates (+160) ML vs Chicago Cubs *8 EST
How do you trust Yu Darvish? Since a terrible postseason for the Dodgers, the guys been a head case. So far he has an 8.10 ERA and walked more (11) than what he struck out (6). The Cubs might well have to score 10 runs again with Darvish pitching.
DARVISH is 10-13 (-15.2 Units) as a favorite of -150 or more and 7-13 (-15.4 Units) against the money line in home games.

Something's wrong with the Rockies' offense, and Braves starter Kevin Gausman can take advantage. He mowed through the Marlins in his opener (7 innings, 2 hits). He didn't face the Rockies last year but was great on the road overall. The Braves' offense, which scored 15 runs in the first two games of this series against Colorado's top pitchers, now gets call-up Jeff Hoffman for a spot start. Hoffman wasn't overly impressive in spring and last year had just one start, giving up three runs in three innings. This Braves lineup has just 12 career at-bats against him, but six went for hits with four home runs.

CLEVELAND @ DETROIT | 4/10 | 1:10 PM EDT

Trevor Bauer has allowed one hit through 14 innings this season, and Wednesday he faces a Tigers team batting a league-worst .185. Bauer last year against Detroit was otherworldly -- he was 4-0 in four starters with 40 strikeouts and four runs allowed over 29.1 innings. Cleveland's offense isn't much better than Detroit's, though it averages about one run more per game and has been better against left-handed pitching. Tiger starter Matthew Boyd is averaging more than two K's per inning, but the Indians' have won five in a row and are gaining confidence.

Heath Fillmyer is being called up to start for the Royals -- he was torched in his one minor-league start. He'll face a Mariners batting lineup that's basically leads the league in every important category. If he gets shelled again, the Royals' bullpen with its 8.07 ERA takes over. Seattle's Yusei Kikuchi has been hit or miss through three starts, but he's backed by a solid bullpen and should have a lead to work with. Kansas City is hitting .194 against left-handed pitching so far.

The No. 3 seed is still in play for the Blazers, at home against a Kings team that isn't playing for anything. Portland has won 13 of 16, while Sacramento has dropped two straight, a blowout to the Jazz and a home loss to the horrid Pelicans. Look for the hotter, determined Blazers to take care of business.
