Clearly frustrated, the Lightning haven't lost three in a row in almost two years and even without suspended star Nikita Kucherov not in the lineup they still dominate the Blue Jackets on paper. Lose today and the Lightning might enter the Hall of Shame as one of the best teams EVER to go down in the first round of the Cup playoffs. Win today and it will give the Columbus squad something to think about -- my money says the can win, have to win and should win.

Portland has only lost 2 games in the last month but are getting no respect as the market is over reacting to the injury to Nurkic. Oklahoma City just doesn’t play good enough defense for me to back them on the road here in a Game 1 setting. Portland knows that they are the Underdog in this series even though they have Home Court advantage. Portland makes a statement in Game 1. Note that following a game in which they scored 120 or more points this year Portland is 18-9 ATS. Add in the fact that Oklahoma City is just 12-26 ATS vs division opponents the last 2 seasons. My numbers have Portland wining by 7-9 points.
