The Milwaukee right-hander is 0-2 with a 7.25 ERA in his last 3 starts overall plus has particularly struggled on the road this season. St Louis counters with Adam Wainwright here and the right-hander has a respectable 4.00 ERA in his two home starts this season but he has been fortunate as he has a 1.78 WHIP in those two starts. Eventually, Wainwright is going to get burned for putting too many men on base and the Brewers lineup is loaded with hitters whom have fared well against him. Also, Wainwright's curve was getting pounded in his last start. If he can't effectively use that pitch he is doomed against Milwaukee. The over is 13-5 in St Louis games against right-handed starters and also the over is 8-2 this season in Cardinals day games! The over was 5-2 in the Brewers last 7 divisional games prior to yesterday's game staying under which also ended a stretch that saw Milwaukee's games against the Cards go 3-1 in the first 4 match-ups this season. My 1* Free Play is on the Washington Capitals (7:30 EST).
Washington took Game’s 1 and 2 at home. Carolina then took Game’s 3 and 4 at home.
The Capitals took Game 5 at home 6-0, before the Hurricanes then took Game 6 at home 5-2.
Does anyone see a pattern here?
Carolina has in fact outscored Washington 12-3 at home, while being outscored 14-5 in the three games in the nation’s capital.
Note that the Hurricanes are just 22-22 on the road this year, averaging 2.77 goals and allowing 2.93 in those contests.
Washington on the other hand is 27-17 at home for the season, averaging 3.43 goals and conceding 2.64 in those contests.
The experience and the home ice advantage make the Capitals worth the price of admission in this one in my opinion. Consider Washington in Game 7.

I had a play on the Clippers in their Game 4 loss. LA’s back is against the wall as it looks to stave off elimination and I don’t think that the visitors will go quietly. The Clippers were competitive throughout last time out and I don’t expect anything different here either. In fact, let’s not forget that LA has already proven it can win in this arena after posting its historic come from behind win in Game 2. Additionally note that LA is 24-18 ATS on the road this year and 2-0 ATS when trailing in a playoff series, while Golden State is still a terrible 17-24 ATS as a home favorite this season. Outright win? Of course not. But look for the Clippers to go down fighting and grab the points.
