DEFIBRILLATOR - Although I sometimes have doubts about a racer who failed backers as the public choice in his last race, this gelding got a solid rating and fits well here. Jock jumped on this gelding's back for the first attempt on Apr 6th. Should be acquainted with the horse even better today. Finished second, but easily in the place spot over the third horse. Those types usually run well next time out. I believe the addition of the 'shades' today will help this gelding focus his attention on racing. I like to bet on this handicapping theory, a horse coming back off a sharp outing within the last month or so. JW'S THIRD MISCHIE - Trainer Guerrero moves this thoroughbred down the class scale to face much lower class horses. Look for a strong race given the class advantage. Sprinters that come back to the races quickly are generally good plays. This colt should be at the fitness peak, this far into his form cycle. This animal has increased his speed figures in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is worth taking notice of. AMERICAN PRAISE - The return on investment when Sanchez and Coletti get together is fantastic. I like that this first-timer has been working over the Parx Racing oval and makes his debut here today. Take this advice. When you've got a first time starter, take a look at dam stats as much as sire stats. This one's dam has been terrific winning at a 100 pct rate.

I've got to go with TALKER. Overall the speed figures of this pony look very good in this contest. Has been running admirably lately and should be up near the lead early on. With a very good 70 speed rating last time out, will clearly be a factor in this race. REDNECK LADY - A solid 71 avg class fig may give this filly a distinct class edge against this group. SWEETHEART LADY - Should compete very well in the early speed battle which bodes well with this group of animals. With a solid 55 speed fig last time out, will definitely be a factor in this contest.
