    Paul Leiner:

Pivotal game tonight for the Bucks and Celtics and after reviewing the numbers I absolutely love Boston. I also think that the team will rally after the news of Danny Ainge having a heart attack. This one may turn into a blowout. Thanks and goodluck.

            LIST PITCHERS: Anderson and Musgrove

Finn cashed his lone Wednesday night baseball event with a play Under the Total in Anahiem when the Angels hosted the Toronto Jays. Finn has a Thursday night Major League Baseball Doubleheader for tonight and this is the first of his two-game MLB Report.,

A's lefty and starting pitcher in tonight's affair against the NL Bucs, Anderson, is coming off a start in which he allowed 6 ER in 5 1/3 IP. After looking like the A's best pitcher through his first four starts, Anderson has not completed five innings in his past two outings.

The key piece in last summers trade of Gerrit Cole to Houston was tonight's Bucs' starter Musgrove. The Pitt starting right-hander has registered five quality starts this season. His last turn saw hime toss a QS versus the Dodgers on Saturday. Mustrove allowed three runs (one earned) over 6 2/3 innings in a Pirates loss. Musgrove finished April with a 1.64 ERA and 0.94 WHIP to go along with 30 strikeouts in 33 innings." It is safe to state that due to the Pirates offense, or lack thereof, Musgrove will fly under the radar this season despite his success, and compared to players with lesser talent playing for a team that can hit, pitch and win.

Anderson doesn't trust his stuff like most big league rotation players. And his near K to BB equality offers evidence of such.

Musgrove has done nearly everything right in the young 2019 campaign. His BB rate is close to elite (1.91 BB/9) and while his xFIP of 3.74 doesn't garner the water cooler talk of his ERA that in time will climb. Currently Musgrove is working with a .233 BABIP compared to his career mark of .297. The unsustainable BABIP alone will assist in Musgrove's ERA to climb. But with career evidence that Musgrove doesn't issue free passes and with that keeping runners off the bases Musgrove has the ability to overcome his liabilities and be the Bucs ace for the next handful of season.

            LIST PITCHERS: Kikuchi and Bieber

            (921) Seattle Mariners at (922) Cleveland Indians

Young right-hander Shane Bieber takes his 2019 3.68 and career 6-plus ERA into tonight's game against an underapreciated Seattle Mariners roster. Bieber allowed one run on four hits over six-plus innings in an April 16 victory versus the Mariners but his advantage versus the Seattle lineup is no longer and Seattle understands that being patient against a pitcher that picks at the corners of home plate is imprative to success. The M's have now seen Bieber up front and close and now know he isn't overwhelming or as imposing as some would like you to believe. He struck out five and walked three in his last turn versus

            Starting Pitching Matchup

Mariners LH Yusei Kikuchi (1-1, 4.54 ERA) vs. Indians RH Shane Bieber (2-1, 3.68)

Kikuchi is tonight's starting pitcher with the edge the first two times through the lineup. The first-year lefty pitched just one inning against Texas last Friday as Seattle watches his workload in his first major league season. Ignore the statline for the Japanese import in this last turn in which he surrendered four runs and 10 hits over five innings at the Los Angeles Angels. Four of the basehits against the M's southpaw were seeing eye singles and while a handful of the current Indians' hitters have face Kikuchi most haven't. Nor is there an accurate book on his arsenal. The left-handed rookie turned in a quality start at home against Cleveland on April 15 -- and his delivery is uber-deceptive. He has a long and jerky windup and while he doesn't overpower opposing batters he has a backdoor cutter that cripples right-handed hitters and he induces soft contact and late decision on his pitchers because the ball is nearly impossible to pick up at the start of his deliever.

Bieber was reached for three runs on as many hits over six innings at Houston last Saturday but did not factor in the decision The 23-year-old, essentially rookie, surrendered seven runs across 2 1/3 innings versus the NL's Atlanta in his previous outing.

Bieber made his first start of 2019 by Allowing 2 runs on 2 hits over 6 innings while walking 2 and striking out 9. Other than a 2-run homer to Freddy Galvis, Bieber dominated the Blue Jays offense. Stating such and resting on one's laurels because they shutdown Toronto isn't any thing to put on your resume. Bieber's 11.8% Swinging Strike rate from last year is pedestrian, at best. Bieber posted a 4.55 ERA last season over 114 IP. Note tat while Bieber's underlying peripherals suggest he was better than his surface numbers suggest he doesn't know who he is or where he is going at this poin in his career.

Make no mistake. Bieber is a No. 5 starter for a good team. This makes him a No. 4 on most other orgainziations.

Friday card has 2 big NBA Plays, and 5* plays in MLB and NHL Playoff action. NBA Ranked #1 on multiple networks. MLB Totals play below.

The MLB Comp play is to play the under in the LA. Dodgers at San Diego game at 10:10 eastern. This game applies to a solid 85% totals system that play under for home dogs like the padres in a game where the total is 8 or less if they are off a road dog win and scored 10 or more runs, vs an opponent like LA that arrives off a road favored loss. We have a pair of tough leftys in Kershaw and Lauer who has pitched under in both home starts vs LA. The last 3 here in SD have gone under and the padres are on a 5-1 Under run at home and have gone under in 5 straight vs left handed pitching. Play this one under. On Friday we start Derby weekend with 4 powerful plays, 2 in the NBA a side and total and 5* MLB Blowout and 5* NHL Game 5 Historical system. We are ranked #1 in the NBA on Multiple networks. see us on facebook to Jump on now as we continue to cash. For the MLB Free pick. Play the Dodgers and Padres under the total. Rob V- GC Sports.

                        4 Units - Take #924 Texas (-145) over Toronto *8 EST
After being swept in Anaheim, Toronto heads to the Lone Star State. The Blue Jays will use rookie right-hander Trent Thornton (0-3, 5.08 ERA), is still seeking his first major league win after six starts. Like a lot of rookie pitchers, Thornton has problems finding the strike zone and thus is nibbling too much according to his manager.
Against a team like the Rangers that scores 6.3 RPG at home and 6.2RPG vs. RH starters, that could be a large problem. As I've said it before, have not been a fan of Texas starter Mike Mino (3-2, 2.88), however, have to give it to him and the fact he's altered his pitch pattern to be more effective. Let's grab the Rangers who are 8-3 in home games vs. AL teams allowing 4.4 or less runs a game, with the same record against teams with a bullpen whose WHIP is 1.25 or better.

                        2 Units - #911 Arizona / #912 Colorado OVER 11 (-110) *8:40 EST
For this total, let's begin with the Snakes Robbie Ray (1-1, 4.18 ERA) who can walk the park too often and who has 5.77 ERA against Colorado. The Rockies will counter with a Tyler Anderson (0-2, 11.34) who has surrendered at least five runs in each start and has given up six home runs in 16 2/3 innings. Colorado comes home hot after hanging a pair of 11's at Miller Park and Anderson is 12-3 OVER as an underdog of +100 or higher. To polish this off, Arizona is 17-7 OVER when playing with a day off. Take the Over, big number for a reason here.

3-Unit Play. #586. Take Boston Celtics -2 over Milwaukee Bucks (Friday @ 8pm est)

3-Unit Play. #587. Take Under 215 Portland vs. Denver (Friday @ 10:30pm est)

We roll with both of these selections today for a variety of reasons. For starters, Kyrie had a horrible game last game and it is hard to imagine that he doesn't come out fired up. Remember, he was quoted as saying, "This is what I'm built for". This is what athletes look forward to each and every time they play such a competitive nature as athletes. Note, this is a Celtics team that gave up 123 points in their last game and it's hard to imagine that these Bucks will shoot that well again. Kyrie went 4/18 for just 9 points as it was a bit surprising for a star of that caliber to play that poorly. Look for Kyrie to rebound her. Look for Tatum to also rebound after scoring just 5 points last game and going 2/10 from the field. Look for Boston to step up here and get back on track both offensively and defensively as this is a nice spot for them to bounce-back. Per the Denver Under, I think Portland found a weakness in Dever's offense and exploited it big time last game holding them to just 90 points and I think that will continue here. This is a Portland team that gave up around 115 points at hom eto OKC last time but it's hard to imagine that they give up that many points at home especially with such a fantastic crowd. Denver is just not a good shooting team, they have too many young role players and I think this game will also go under similar to the last game - note, Murray is also banged up in a big way per his thigh as well so this game likely goes Under here.
