DIVINE DIVA - I can't play this habitual non-winner. Gets the job done from time to time. Finished third in her most recent performance with a common speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this field. DUDE'S FIRST LADY - This filly hasn't had any recent success in short distance races. Difficult to wager on her in this affair. GIO'S COOKIE STAR - This horse hasn't shown very much in the last two races.

Thursday comp play is to get your fork out and to stick it into the Philadelphia 76ers, because they are done!

The whole "Process" revolving around this Philly squad will have the summer to reconfigure, as it is clear that this pieced-together lineup is not good enough to get past the team with the second best record in the Eastern Conference.

The Sixers pretty much threw in the towel on Tuesday night, as they were outscored 37-17 in the decisive second quarter, and wound up committing 19 turnovers in that ugly 125-89 whitewashing that was laid down by the Raptors.

Toronto didn't even get an "A"-Game from their star Kawhi Leonard who scored just 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds (he had 33 points or more in each of the first 4 games played in this series!). Instead, for the second game in a row, the supporting cast of this Raptors team was able to shoulder the load, as Pascal Siakam looked much better after his calf injury with a team high 25 points. All 5 of Toronto's starters netted double-figures in fact, and now a win tonight would move the Raptors back to their second Eastern Conference Finals appearance in the past 3 seasons.

Ben Simmons looks lost, and don't even get me started on Joel Embiid. He is an enigma!

My feeling is the home court advantage the Sixers will enjoy tonight could quickly be taken out of the equation if the Raptors come out and grab an early lead. The cheers will quickly turn to jeers, and with Philadelphia looking like a rudderless ship, I don't suspect it will be long before the white towel of surrender is once again waved.

Philly has a ton of off-season questions to answer because tonight they are going to be shown the exit door by Kawhi Leonard and his Raptors.
