Saturday's comp play comes in the NHL, as I am going to play the Blues-Sharks opening game to hold Under the total.
Here we have a pair of sizzling goalies, as Blues goalie Jordan Binnington has allowed just 4 goals total in his last 3 games, while Sharks goalie Martin Jones has gone 7-3 his last 10 in the postseason with a GAA just over 2.
St. Louis enters on a 2-0-1 Under run their last 3 this postseason, while San Jose is on a 3-1 Under run their last 4 games played this postseason.
All 3 season series meetings this year have played Under the total, as the series Under has been the play in each of the last 5 series meetings between the Western Conference rivals. Overall, the Under is 6-0-2 the last 8 times these teams have faced-off against one another!
Game One is usually a "feeling out" contest between teams, and tonight's first game will see both Binnington and Jones "wall up", as I am not counting on more than 4 combined goals being scored in this series opener.
Blues and Sharks Under in Game One for Saturday night.
4* ST. LOUIS-SAN JOSE UNDER
