                          Dwayne Connors

Friday night comp play goes out on the Under in the Raptors and Bucks in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Wednesday night it took a while for the Bucks to regain their form, and because it took so long to get the offense clicking, Milwaukee could only muster 108 points, while Toronto netted just 100 points as Game One landed Under the total.

That makes it 2 in a row, and 3 of the last 4 between the teams since the regular season having held Under the posted price.

The Raptors have now held Under the total in their last pair this postseason, and 10 of their 13 playoff games overall. Toronto has held the opposition to under 100 points in 9 of their 13 playoff games so far.

After Wednesday's Game One, the Bucks have now held Under the total in 3 straight this postseason, and in 4 of their last 6 this postseason.

Although Milwaukee trailed until an 8-0 run to open the 4th quarter pushed them in front, the Bucks did a pretty solid job defensively in Game One.

Your Game Two total is down from your Game One total, but it is not down enough for me to want to side with an Over just yet.

Stick with those Under trends and play the Raptors and Bucks to hold Under in Game Two for Friday.

                            COMPLIMENTARY WINNER

Let's take the Chicago Cubs as my free play tonight, as I like the road dog and the pitching matchup against the Washington Nationals.

I'm also going to list the scheduled starters: Cole Hamels and Max Scherzer.

Hamels steps to the hill on a bit of a hot streak, having gone 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA in his last six turns for the Cubs. In that span, he's struck out 40 and walked 14 over 38-2/3 innings. The veteran left-hander has had his time against the Nationals, from his time with the Philadelphia Phillies, and comes in sporting a 16-9 mark with a 2.67 ERA in 37 career starts against Washington.

And he has the support from the bullpen, as the Cubs' staff has a stingy ERA of 2.47 in their last 10 games.

He'll have more confidence and motivation as the perceived underdog, thyan Scherzer, who is just 2-4 this season. I don't know what is going on with him, but his hands will be full in this one, as the Cubs are 7-3 in their last 10 games with a .247 batting average and have outscored their opponents by 13 runs in that span.

                            2* CUBS (Hamel over Scherzer)

I'm on a 12-2 winning run with MLB freebies this season.

My free play for Friday is on the New York Yankees in their American League East clash with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Yankees are surging and are now just 1/2 game back in the division, looking to sneak past Tampa Bay this weekend. And in boasting a 10-3 mark against teams from the American League East, I think the Yankees are setting up for a big weekend.

What amazes me about the Yankees, is the way they're finding ways to win. They've won seven of 10, but in that timeframe have just a .233 batting average and a rather high 3.89 ERA for a team that is winning.

So it's about manufacturing runs and timely hits. And with an opportunity to take advantage of the Rays in certain situations, we're going to see the pinstripes prevail.

They have a .434 slugging percentage, led by Gary Sanchez (.663). Luke Voit leads the Yankees with 30 RBIs despite batting just .231. But, Sanchez has been hot of late, as he's 10-for-31 with four home runs and four RBIs over the last 10 games for New York.

Let's take a shot with New York here.

                              4* YANKEES (straight action)

I'm on a 15-6 run with free plays and tonight I look to make it 16 of 22.

Last night we did the same thing, so let's follow it up with another play on the Cleveland Indians against the Baltimore Orioles. And with a hefty price to pay, we're going to play this on the Run Line.

Since every MLB wager on a run line or total auto-lists pitchers, I want you to be sure you're listing just ONE pitcher specifically on your ticket when making this play, and that is Jefry Rodriguez. If he is not the pitcher of record when making your play, disregard this play. And if Baltimore starter Dylan Bundy is scratched, YOU HAVE TO RE-WAGER the game, and be sure Rodriguez is listed again. This play will stand no matter who goes for the Baltimore as long as Rodriguez is throwing for Cleveland.

The 25-year-old right-hander just recorded his third consecutive quality start when he allowed three runs on six hits over six innings against the Oakland A's in his last outing.

He even threw a career-high 101 pitches, so I'm not worried about his durability. He has yet to allow more than three earned runs in all four of his starts. Baltimore ranks in the bottom third of the league with its batting average low scoring output, so Rodriguez should be able to thrive.

                                2* INDIANS RUN LINE
