Reason: The Braves dropped to 25-22 after their 10-inning loss on Sunday to the Brewers, 2-3. The loss snapped a 4-game winning streak by Atlanta. Mike Soroka gets the start today for the Braves. Soroka is 4-1 in his six starts with a 0.98 ERA and 1.009 WHIP. Soroka has been excellent in every start, allowing one run or no runs in each of his starts. The Giants also had to go to extra innings on Sunday, but pulled out the win at Arizona, 3-2. The win improved the Giants to 20-25 on the season. The Giants have had lots of issues with starting pitchers this season and that's why we are seeing Andrew Suarez get his shot here on Monday. Suarez hasn't exactly done great at Triple-A Sacramento this season, starting six games and compiling a 6.33 ERA. Suarez was in the rotation for the Giants last year and had a 4.49 ERA. Right now the Giants are desperate to find anyone who can give them some quality starts. Is Suarez the answer? I think not. I'm taking the Braves here today with a very good Soroka on the hill.
