MLB | Red Sox vs Yankees
Play on: Red Sox -141 at GTBets

Though I won with the Yankees yesterday, today's all-southpaw matchup is far less favorable. Yesterday, the Yankees had Paxton on the mound against the Padres and Paxton has been dominant here at home. However, today's its Happ against the Red Sox and he's been terrible here. In six home starts, he's got a 5.93 ERA. Last time here, Happ lost against Baltimore, giving up two home runs in five innings. Sale, on the other hand, has a respectable 3.97 ERA in six road starts, to go along with a stingy 0.971 WHIP. While the wins still haven't been coming, Sale has been solid. He's off a quality start against Houston. With the Red Sox a dominant 40-15 (+22.9) the past 55 times that they were off two or more consecutive losses, I'm backing Boston.

      MLB | Brewers vs Pirates
Play on: Pirates +119 at betonline

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Pittsburgh Pirates +119
The Pirates need to make up some ground in the NL Central. This is a great chance for them to do so as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers in a four-game series for the first time this season. Joe Musgrove has only given up two homers in 57 innings this season and has a 1.21 WHIP in 10 starts. I don’t think he should be a home underdog today to Chase Anderson and the Brewers. The Pirates are 5-1 in Musgrove’s last six starts on 4 days of rest. Pittsburgh is 6-2 in its last eight home meetings with Milwaukee. Give me the Pirates.

          MLB | MIN vs TAM
          Play on: UNDER 8½ -115

10* MLB FREE PICK (Under 8.5)
I'll take my chances here with the UNDER in this one. With the game being played in Tampa and two strong starters on the mound, I just feel like there's a ton of value on the UNDER at 8.5. Twins will send out Martin Perez, who is 6-1 with a 2.17 ERA and 1.148 WHIP. Rays will counter with Charlie Morton, who is 5-0 with a 2.54 ERA and 1.160 WHIP. UNDER is 3-1 in Morton's 4 home starts and 8-1 in the Twins last 9 vs an AL starter with a ERA at 3.70 or better. Give me the UNDER 8.5!

            MLB | Royals vs Rangers
Play on: Royals +140 at pinnacle

Royals starter Jacob Junis is off a quality start against the Yankees. Texas has not seen Junis stuff this season as he did not pitch against the Rangers when they met in Kansas City earlier this month . I know the Rangers starting hurler Minor is in top form, and off a quality start, but he has proven inconsistent recently when off a quality outing as his team has lost 4 straight under those perimeters. Also Minor has seen his team lose 5 of his L/6 in game 1 of a series.Note:
Rangers are 3-9 in their last 12 during game 1 of a series.I know KC may not inspire bettors, but from a mathematical perspective the Rangers are getting just to much love as compared to their calculated odds of winning , and thus we are getting a public leaning value line here to bet into , making the Royals a bet on situation on the ML.

Play on: Rangers -140 at GTBets

Jack’s Free Pick Thursday: Texas Rangers -140
The Texas Rangers have won 10 of their last 14 and are feeling really good at the plate right now. They are scoring 6.1 runs per game against right-handed starters this season and 6.0 runs per game at home. Look for them to stay hot at the plate against the slumping Royals today.
The Royals are 18-37 on the season and 7-20 on the road. They were just swept by the White Sox last series and have lost six of their last seven. I don’t expect Jake Junis to stop the bleeding. Junis is 3-5 with a 5.58 ERA and 1.484 WHIP in 11 starts this season.
Mike Minor has been the ace for the Rangers this year. He is 5-3 with a 2.55 ERA and 1.132 WHIP in 11 starts this season, including 3-1 with a 2.08 ERA and 1.010 WHP in five home starts. Minor is also 2-1 with a 3.52 ERA in four career starts against Kansas City.
The Royals are 0-8 in Junis’ last eight starts vs. AL West opponents. Kansas City is 1-5 in Junis’ last six road starts. The Rangers are 6-1 in their last seven games vs. a right-handed starter. Texas is 7-1 in Minor’s last eight home starts vs. a team with a losing record. Bet the Rangers Thursday.

Play on: Dodgers -240 at GTBets

1* Free MLB Pick on Los Angeles Dodgers -240
After a brutal bad beat on Wednesday with the Mets, who somehow lost 9-8 after going into the bottom of the 7th up 8-3 (gave up 4 runs bottom of the 9th), I'm laying the big number with LA on Thursday.
Not only will the Dodgers be riding a huge wave of momentum after that amazing come-from behind win, but they will have a massive edge on the mound with Hyun-Jin Ryu starting against the Mets Jason Vargas.
Ryu is 7-1 with a ridiculous 1.65 ERA and 0.826 WHIP in 10 starts. He's a perfect 5-0 with a 1.22 ERA and 0.649 WHIP in 5 home starts. He's been hands down the best starter in the NL. Vargas is 1-2 with a 4.13 ERA in 7 starts and has an ugly 6.75 ERA and 1.725 WHIP in 4 road starts. Lay the big number. Take Los Angeles!

                      Play on: Dodgers -1½ -135 at 5Dimes

                      Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers were on the verge of suffering back-to-back losses for the first time in more than a month before taking advantage of the New York Mets' beleaguered bullpen Wednesday. Los Angeles attempts to ride that momentum to a series win when it hosts New York on Thursday for the finale of their four-game set.

After dropping a 7-3 decision Tuesday, the Dodgers began their half of the seventh inning with a five-run deficit but chipped away with single runs in back-to-back frames before scoring four in the ninth en route to a 9-8 triumph.
PITCHING MATCHUP: Mets LH Jason Vargas (1-2, 5.22 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Hyun-Jin Ryu (7-1, 1.65)

Vargas returned from a stint on the injured list Saturday and settled for a no-decision against Detroit after allowing one run on five hits and three walks in five innings. It marked the fourth time in his last five outings the 36-year-old Californian gave up one run, although he worked more than five frames (5 1/3) in just one of those outings. Vargas has made five career starts against Los Angeles, going 2-3 with one complete game and a 5.10 ERA.
Ryu is an early favorite for the National League Cy Young Award as he leads the majors in ERA and has issued only four walks over 65 1/3 innings while winning seven of his first 10 starts. The 32-year-old South Korean allowed only two runs at Pittsburgh on Saturday despite yielding 10 hits in six frames to win his fourth straight turn and fifth consecutive decision. Ryu is 3-1 with a 1.66 ERA in six career starts against the Mets.
Lay the run and a half with the Dodgers.
