This is a Free MLB play on Cincinnati. The Nationals have won five of their last six, but three of those wins came against Miami. They still have fewer wins than the Reds, but they will be a favorite in Cincinnati on Friday. Patrick Corbin will toe the slab for the visitors, and he's having a fine season. The southpaw is 1-2 with a 3.80 ERA in his last three starts against Cincinnati. The Reds hand the ball to Tyler Mahle, who has pitched better than his record would indicate. Mahle (1-5, 4.15 ERA) allowed six runs on nine hits in five innings in a loss to the Cubs at Wrigley his last time out. WEST TEXAS DASHER V - Pulido and Crawford are a strong pair for profits. I can't pass on this gelding given one of the most respectable jockey and handler combos on the grounds. TELL BETTY - Respectable selection to take this race going in a short. Formidable rider and trainer combo winning 15 percent of their races working together.

VICI - Ortiz and Donk partnered together are a handicapper's friend. CELTIC CHAOS - Strong return on investment for this jock and conditioner duet. The race may set up nicely for this horse's late charge. Entered the Affirmed Success at Belmont Park last time around the track and raced on a sloppy track finishing sixth. Will do better in this field. The trainer is switching this thoroughbred to the turf for a reason. Let's take a shot on this mount. BIG HANDSOME - Got to appreciate a good work horse. This horse's last workout was second fastest of the day for the distance. I like a pony that manages to be there at the wire as often as this horse. Almost always in the money so don't leave him out of your exotic bets. Horse has improved at least 2 Equibase speed figure points in last 2 races. I look for that trend to continue in today's race. GIDU (IRE) - Has run good races in the first or second starts back off of a layoff. Likes to go to the lead and the fact that today is a shorter distance should be beneficial. Finished fifth at Santa Anita last out. Was close at the end and at odds of 4/1 in today's race, he looks like a possible contender.

HIT IT ONCE MORE - Should have at least hit the board in the last two months in a short distance race to be worth a shot at minimal odds in a sprint. Didn't finish in the money on May 2nd at Belmont Park. Followed it up with another lackluster performance.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - GIDU (IRE) - That bullet move should put this racer on edge versus the rest of the group. Worth a prime wager today.

BOLD RALLY - Personally, I wouldn't worry about where he finished in his last race (fourth). Should improve in this event, with some pretty good odds. FORESTER'S DESTINY - In this race here, this racer has clearly shown signs that he likes the turf. His Equibase speed figs are the highest in the field for this distance and surface. Gelding's last work was second fastest of the day for the distance. Just check out his most recent speed rating, 91. That one fits well in this bunch. KAIGUN - Every now and then I take some time off, when I come back to the track I feel refreshed. I think it's the same with this gelding as he always seems to run well after a vacation. This animal picks up a lot of dough per race around the track. Tops in this affair.

Not likely that the rating he notched on March 23rd will be enough in this race.
