My free winner for Saturday is on the Kansas City Royals at home against the Chicago White Sox. Be sure you list starting pitchers Brad Keller and Lucas Giolito in this American League Central revenge clash.

It's time for Giolito to come down to earth after being named AL Pitcher of the Month and Player of the Week. While I realize he's given up a mere five runs over 43.2 innings in his past six starts, one of those games was against these same Royals - including Keller, who started opposite Giolito.

Keller gave up four runs over six innings in the loss, and then lasted seven innings on Sunday, when he gave up nine hits and three runs in a 5-1 loss to the Rangers. He also struck out six and walked none.

I like my chances with the Royals and Keller. Look for them to feed off of Friday's win, which saw them stop a six-game slide with a 6-4 win over Chicago.

    Home underdog and list both.

    2* ROYALS (Keller over Giolito)

Let's go ahead and play this Saturday late afternoon meeting at Progressive Field between the Yankees and the Indians to see the runs add up to an Over with CC Sabathia and Adam Plutko serving 'em up.

Last night saw just 7 combined runs as the teams played a rare series Under.

Even with last night's Under, the series numbers show a 5-3-2 Over run when these teams meet over the last 10 showdowns.

Sabathia is back in the rotation, after his balky knee gave him some issues yet again and kept him 10 days in between starts. Each of his last pair of starts, and 4 of his last 5 starts overall have ended up playing Over the total.

His counterpart Adam Plutko has split time between the bullpen and the starting rotation, and his last start back on May 23rd lasted just over 5 innings with 12 hits and 7 runs allowed.

You get the feeling that this game could see a bunch of crooked numbers posted? I sure do!

Yankees and Indians to land Over the total on Saturday late afternoon from Cleveland.

      3* N.Y. YANKEES-CLEVELAND OVER

        COMPLIMENTARY WINNER

I'll take the Texas Rangers against the Oakland Athletics in the first game of their doubleheader, and in this one I want you listing just one pitcher. We're siding with Texas' Joe Palumbo, who is scheduled to make his MLB debut.

The left-hander has made nine starts and had one long relief appearance for Double-A Frisco, where he posted a 3.38 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP and a .222 opponents’ batting average.

Now the New York-native steps to the big show to make his debut, albeit in Arlington, far from West Islip. And while the 30th round pick from the 2013 draft knows he is unlikely stay with the club long, he's never going to get this moment back, and I think he makes the most of it.

Think about this, the A's have a predominately right-handed lineup, and this lefty is pitching with command and confidence as he's averaging 7.3 hits, 4.3 walks and 11.5 strikeouts per nine innings.

The Rangers hitters will provide run support for the youngsters, with the ninth-best lineup hitting .257 that is scoring a league second-best 343 runs. They also have the third-best slugging percentage (.453) in the American League, led by Hunter Pence, who is crushing the ball at a .593 clip.

We can also depend on Nomar Mazara, who is 13-for-41 with a double, two home runs and seven RBIs over the last 10 games for Texas.

Play the Rangers, whose offense comes to life while their rookie takes the first of the twinbill.

        5* RANGERS (List Palumbo ONLY)

Play on: Diamondbacks -135 at 5Dimes

Jack’s Free Pick Saturday: Arizona Diamondbacks -135
The Toronto Blue Jays are just 9-26 in their last 35 games overall. We’ll gladly fade them here Saturday and back ace Zack Greinke and the Arizona Diamondbacks to get the job done. The Diamondbacks are 18-16 and scoring 5.7 runs per game on the road this season.
Greinke is certainly having a Cy Young-caliber season thus far. He is 6-2 with a 3.09 ERA and 0.930 WHIP In 13 starts. Look for him to shut down a weak Toronto lineup that is hitting just .210 and scoring 3.6 runs per game against right-handed starters this season.
Arizona is 8-2 in road games after scoring 8 runs or more this season. Toronto is 3-20 after a two-game span where its bullpen threw 9 innings or more this season. The Blue Jays are 13-31 vs. right-handed starters this season. Arizona is 32-13 in Greinke’s last 45 starts vs. a team with a losing record. Toronto is 1-6 in Sanchez’s last seven starts. Bet the Diamondbacks Saturday.

10* FREE MLB PICK (Indians +121)
I'll take my chances here with the Indians as a home dog against the Yankees. I just don't feel like Cleveland should be the dog in this fight. New York has lost 4 of 5 and are not swinging a very hot bat. Indians took 2 of 3 at home over the Twins in their previous series and won 5-2 in last night's series opener. Cleveland has scored 5 or more runs in 7 of their last 11 games. Yankees starter C.C. Sabathia has a 5.31 ERA and 1.377 WHIP in 4 road starts. Give me the Indians +121!

Play on: Astros -221 at YouWager

1* Free MLB Pick on Houston Astros -221
The Astros squeaked out a 4-3 win over the Orioles on Friday and are now 26-7 over their last 33. Baltimore is 25 games (19-44) under .500 and that's with a 4-1 start to the season. Simply put, I got no problem laying more than double the juice on the best team in baseball against one of the worst.
Especially when there's a high probability that the Astros put up a big number offensively. Baltimore will be sending out Andrew Cashner, who has a 5.04 ERA and 1.430 WHIP in 12 starts and is trending the wrong way with a 7.87 ERA and 1.750 WHIP in his last 3.
Orioles offense has scored 3 or fewer in 5 of their last 6. I'll take my chances on Framber Valdez being able to keep them in check. The 25-year-old Dominican has a 2.57 ERA and 1.29 WHIP over 22 appearances (5 starts). Take Houston!

The Cubs want to return the favor after getting swept in St. Louis last weekend. They are off to a good start with a 3-1 win over the Cardinals yesterday and will be out for more blood in Game 2 today. It’s not often you get to back Jon Lester as a home dog either. Lester is 2-2 with a 1.76 ERA in six home starts this year. His counterpart, Jack Flaherty, is 1-2 with a 6.20 ERA in five road starts this season. Lester is also 9-6 with a 2.64 ERA in 21 previous starts against the Cardinals. Wrong team favored. Give me the Cubs.
