2 Units - LA Dodgers (-160) over Arizona *3:40 EST
I am going over my limit of -150 in this one as the Dodgers are a clear-cut win here in my opinion. They OWN the D Backs and just waxed them 9-0 last night. Maeda takes the hill with a 2.55 ERA his last 3 starts (0.62 WHIP) and is a solid right hander and the D Backs hitting right handers at .202 as a team their last 5. D Backs counter with Duplantier and he has pitched 17 innings all year and opponents are hitting .356 against him.
This line should be -180 minimum. Maeda's road ERA is higher than at home which is keeping this number down a bit but with the poor hitting D Backs that neutralizes this along with a stellar bullpen backing him.
4 Units - Atlanta / Pittsburgh (OVER 9.5) * 7 EST
These two scored17 runs last night, both pitchers ERA their last 3 starts is a combined 16.27 ! Unreal. The lowest ERA is that of Pitts starter Joe Musgrove at 7.27. The Braves have scored 12 runs twice in their last 3 games and 9 runs four games again. The Pirates are hitting .291 as a team their last 5 games facing Gausman with an ERA of 9.00 his last 3. Bear in mind also in their last 5 games the Pirate's bullpen has been lit up to the tune of a 8.22 ERA!
3 Units - #958 NY Mets (-130 ) over San Fran *7:10 EST
The Mets bullpen imploded last night, giving up six runs in the ninth inning of a 3-3 game. sending them to defeat. That should be less of a problem today with New York scoring on the Giants Tyler Beede (7.82 ERA) and the Mets Jason Vargas (1-3. 4.46) limiting San Francisco. Vargas is pitching like he's 10 years younger with a 2.81 ERA in his past three starts and he has 1.80 ERA this season at Citi Field.
San Fran's offense is mediocre at best and is 28th in runs scored versus left-handed starters at 3.5 RPG. The Giants are 3-14 in road games vs. NL teams allowing five or more runs a game and falter again.
2 Units - #976 LA Angels (-105 ) over Oakland *10 EST
With their long sojourn over, the players in the Angels uniforms got to sleep in their own beds and did not have to fly anywhere. Refreshed, the team from Anaheim takes the field tonight ready to go after two lethargic outings. Felix Pena (3-1, 3.42 ERA) has given his team good consistent efforts all year and no reason for that to change against a rival like Oakland.
The Halos enter this contest 20-7 against losing teams and they are 18-8 at the Big A vs. the Athletics. Though not a big fan of umpire stats, hard not pay attention to Will Little behind the dish with these two clubs. With Little calling balls and strikes, the Angels are 8-2 and Oakland 3-9.

I'm taking a shot on a red-hot offense here. The Marlins have scored 34 runs in their last three games, including a 16-0 blowout of these Brewers on Tuesday. Milwaukee starter Jimmy Nelson will be pitching for the first time this season on Wednesday night, so it's hard to imagine he's going to be sharp, or last very long, putting pressure on a bullpen that got a lot of work last night. The Marlins are worth a shot at this price.

On Tuesday night it was warm and the wind was blowing out to center. Now, a day later, temps will be in the high-50s with 10 mph winds blowing straight in from center. No park is affected by the weather more than Wrigley. It'll be a pitcher's haven on Wednesday night.

Klay Thompson's status is up in the air as he deals with a hamstring, but I'm expecting he'll play. If he'd been sitting out of practice I'd be more skeptical. Either way, I'm expecting a Stephen Curry game, and on the road the Raptors will need Kawhi to do everything to get a win in this game. He's capable of doing it, yes, but I don't like the odds of it happening. Not against the Warriors.

The Mets are trending in the wrong direction, but they pick it up when Jason Vargas throws. New York is 5-1 in his last six starts and 4-0 when it’s against a team under .500. They’ve also won nine of 11 at Citi Field. He also owns a 2.12 ERA in five career starts against the Giants.

Kevin Gausman got lit up for eight earned runs in one inning last time out, but before that he had allowed three or fewer runs in five straight starts. Atlanta is 9-2 in its last 11 road games, 5-2 in Gausman's last seven starts overall. Pirates starter Joe Musgrove has been terrible at home, with a 6.41 ERA and a .310 batting average allowed. Lay it.
