EXCLUSIVE REWARD - Faced tougher last time around the track at Thistledown. Based on Equibase class figures, this is a weaker field, so I will put this animal on my list of top contenders. Tunon was aboard this gelding in the last race and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. Have to make this gelding a strong challenger; he comes off a good race on May 29th. YOUSHOULDBEDANCING - This entrant wins a lot of money per race around the track. I believe he will boost that total in this event. Taking a big class drop in class figure points from his May 25th race at Parx Racing. Based on that key piece of info, I will give this animal the advantage. I like this gelding today. Good late run in the sprint race on May 25th at 7 furlongs. TERRELL'S PEN PAL - When this rider and handler combine forces you have to take a look. Haldar and Diehl have been fabulous together. This thoroughbred coming off a strong contest in the last thirty days is a solid contender in my book.

MARY FAYE is the best wager in this race. Shows signs of the look of a money-making play, averaging a solid 67 speed figure which is one of the most favorable in this field. Could best this field based on the Equibase Speed Figure - 80 - of her last effort. She has very strong class ratings, averaging 77, and has to be given consideration in this event. FIRST EASY DOC - Have to sense that this horse will make a good showing again this time around. Had one of the most favorable Speed Figures of this group in his last race. SMOKEYS TRAIN B - Risk takers should take a good look at this one as this filly has one of the best win percentages at this distance in this group of horses in this race. Last time out, this filly faced a rougher field.

My comp play winner for Wednesday comes in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, as I will play St. Louis and Boston to hold Under the posted total of 5 1/2 goals.

These teams are fresh off a 5-1 Over in Game 6, but that score is a bit misleading, as the game was just 1-0 at the start of the 3rd period of play. That Over marked the 4th time in the 6 games played that the teams landed Over the total. Rather than stick with that trend, look for Jordan Binnington and Tuukka Rask to be on top of their game, and look for the goal-scoring chances to be very limited this Wednesday night in Beantown.

Rask has allowed 2 goals or less in 14 of his last 20 playoff games dating back to the opening round, while Binnington has allowed 2 goals or less in 10 of his last 15 postseason contests.

It's been a great series so far, and I think we are in store for a classic Game 7 showdown tonight. I think we are looking at anywhere from just 3 to 4 total goals in this final game of the 2019 NHL season.

NBA idle until Thursday, so let's make some cash on the diamond in the meantime.

Wednesday night comp play release on the Brewers and the Astros to hold Under the total with Brandon Woodruff and Justin Verlander doing the work.

Last night's meeting saw a whopping 18 combined runs in a game that easily sailed Over the total.

Milwaukee had been Under the total in their previous pair, and are still Under the total in 3 of their last 5 games overall.

Houston's run of 3 in a row Under came to a halt last night, but the pitching matchup tonight suggest another Under is in the cards.

Woodruff has been on the mound for 3 straight starts that have landed Over the total, but he has allowed 3 runs or less to be scored on him in 7 of his last 8 starts, and he has surrendered 2 runs or less in 7 of his last 10 starts overall.

As for Verlander, he continues to remain tough to get any offense generated against, as the veteran righty has allowed 3 runs or less to be scored on him in 12 of his 14 season starts. 5 of his last 6 starts have held Under the total, and 11 of his 14 overall starts this year have played Under the posted price. Verlander also sports a 1.75 ERA at Minute Maid Park for the season.

Pitchers to rule the roost tonight. Milwaukee and Houston combine for maybe 5 total runs if they are lucky.
