I'm not letting the Philadelphia Phillies off the hook that easily, after blowing last night's game in the bottom of the ninth. They also blew the free pick I gave you, so I'm coming right back with them tonight to earn revenge over the Atlanta Braves.
The Braves scored three times in the ninth inning to shock the Phillies 9-8 in the series opener.
The National League East rivals are separated by 2 1/2 games, with the Braves on top thanks to their eight-game win streak.
Philadelphia has to have enough pride to steal this middle game and set up a rubber game on Sunday. The Phillies have gone 15-10 against East division opponents, and is led at the plate by Jean Segura, who is hitting .285 this season. He also leads the team with 68 hits.
Between Segura and Scott Kingery's bats, I'm confident the Phils will get to whomever the Braves have on the mound throughout this game. Kingery has done a nice job at the plate of late, going 12-for-36 with three doubles, a triple, five home runs and nine RBIs in his last 10 games.
Play the Phils here, as they exact revenge from last night.

Saturday comp play on the Dodgers to handle their business once again against the slumping Cubs.
Chicago has taken early leads in the first 2 games of this 4 game series the past 2 night's, only to see them both go bye-bye, as Los Angeles won on Thursday by a 7-3 count, and won again last night by a 5-3 score.
The Cubs have now dropped 4 of their first 5 on their current road swing, while last night's win boosted the Dodgers to 27-7 at home this year, and 47-23 overall for the season!
Yu Darvish has made 8 straight starts without garnering a decision either way, and the team is just 2-4 over his last 6 starts. Darvish has not faced the Dodgers in his career, and is his short stay in Dodger Blue went just 1-2 with a 4.84 ERA at Chavez Ravine while pitching with L.A.
Walker Buehler will counter for the home team, and will be back home after winning back-to-back road starts in which he has allowed only one run over 15 innings pitched with just 7 hits allowed, and 20 strikeouts recorded.
Buehler is 7-1 for the season, and tonight looks about as good of a spot as any to ride him to another win at the expense of the slumping Cubbies.
L.A. by at least 2 runs.

I'm on a 27-11 winning run with my free baseball plays this season.
I really don't like the card much today, only my 300♦ play between the Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants. So after perusing today's schedule, I decided to take a shot on the biggest underdog. Why not?
1. It would pay off huge.
2. It's a free pick, and it's a worth a shot.
Cleveland won big last night, but it is still 15-16 on the road and is hitting a mere .243 in its last 10 games. What baffles me about this team is that it's won 6 of 10 and has that batting average, while the Tigers have lost 7 of 10 and have a better batting average, at .253.
Detroit has the weapons when it wants to play, and can find a pitcher to hit against. I won't list the starters, but I can see the Tigers attacking Cleveland starter Shane Bieber, who imploded in his last start, against the New York Yankees last Saturday. The pinstripes chased him after tacking on five runs on five hits and two walks in the second innings.
The Tigers have 58 home runs, which ranks dead last in the American League, yet a guy like Christin Stewart is 12-for-37 with two doubles, two home runs and four RBIs in the team's last 10 games.
Let's take a shot, because, why not?
I will have a small piece on the Tigers at this price, as the Indians aren't impressing me one bit on the road.
