My free play is on the Atl Braves at 7:20 ET. Atlanta's Josh Donaldson was 3-of-4 with a two-run HR in Sunday’s 15-1 rout of Philadelphia and is hitting .370 with four HRs and eight RBI in his last six games for an Atlanta offense that is averaging 7.5 runs and 10.7 hits per contest in June while going 12-3 with 32 HRs. Sunday's victory was the Braves' NINTH in 10 contests (averaging 7.8 RPG), extending the team's lead in the NL East to 2 1/2 games over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Mets arrive in Atlanta to open an 11-game road trip off losing THREE of four at home against the Cardinals over the long weekend. To add insult to injury, Noah Syndergaard was place of injured list with a right hamstring strain and the Mets then lost starter Jason Vargas after four innings Sunday due to a left calf cramp. New York’s bullpen took the loss in all three defeats to St Louis and now owns a 5.25 ERA (ranks 27th of 30 teams). Zack Wheeler (5-4, 4.87 ERA) and Mike Soroka (7-1, 1.92 ERA) will take the mound in Monday's series opener. Wheeler had a strong outing on June 6 against San Francisco by allowing three runs on three hits over seven innings of a 7-3 win but he was then pounded for nine runs (five earned) on 10 hits across 4.2 innings on June 11 in a 12-5 loss. Wheeler has had trouble with keeping the ball in the park in 2019, allowing 13 HRs in 88.2 innings this season, one shy of his total from a year ago that was amassed over 182.1 innings. Soroka is coming off his worst start of the season last Wednesday against Pittsburgh, giving up season highs in runs (five) and hits (10) across a season low-tying five innings. However, he remains one of the breakout pitching stars in the NL this season, with a 1.92 ERA and 0.96 WHIP (Atlanta is 8-3 in his 11 starts). Soroka beat the Mets in his major-league debut last May and is 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA in two lifetime appearances against New York but note that Wheeler has also pitched well against the Braves in his career, going 6-3 with a 3.19 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 11 starts (team is 7-4). All that said, the Braves are on a roll (see above), while the Mets 'limp' into Atlanta having lost 18 of their last 23 games away from home!Good luck...Larry

TELESCOPIC PLAN - Horses out of the barn of Broberg have been great on the grass. Should do well. This thoroughbred may have too much power on the grass for the rest of the field. Moving down the stretch, she could put these away. This mare is in fine condition. Finished first on Jun 1st. This thoroughbred has increased her speed ratings from a fig of 73 to 79 to 82 in succession. SARABI - It looks like Eramia had to learn about this filly on May 19th when riding her for the first time. Back aboard again today. Solid average class rating on this horse. Should have the form to run well on the turf. DESHA - 39-63-84 are last 3 speed figs. Improving each time out is something she should do again right here.
