  Pivetta v. Fried
  Yikes...this is for real.
  The price here is flat out phenomenal on the home Braves in this spot...reason number 1 I assume is Pivetta pitching out of his mind the last 2 starts shutting down almost completely the Dodgers and Reds lineups. Looking deeper the Dodgers had won the first 2 of the series and their lackadaisical offense had Rich Hill pitching even better that day and waited out Pivetta only to score 8 runs then the Reds he caught in the midst of what appears to be a regular occurrence of barely scoring double digit runs in an entire week of baseball! 14 innings and 1 run is good however you slice it no doubt...but it only allows us to hammer a number likely that should be 150 or more.
  Pivetta has a nice looking xFIP and would appear to be a play on type spot...but the xFIP takes into account league average HR/FB rate...of which he is not worthy. His rate is one of his downfalls...and with his offense already looking weaker and weaker they have a day off and face the Braves who don't have to travel or simmer their momentum with the bats. In fact, to the point exactly of HR...they have hit RHP since June 1st for a 37.5% HR/FB rate...on 36+% FB and for an MLB leading 53% hard contact...and it ain't no hard or bust either...over 30% is medium contact....all this in 133 PAs...not a small sample.
  Pivetta has an astronomical 21.2%HR/FB rate...on less than 30%FB allowed on a regular basis. He also has a .327 BABIP and just isn't striking out or intimidating enough hitters compared to his walk rate....again it has dropped after 2 no walk endeavors...but the Braves are HOT...just kept that up yesterday and should chase Pivetta before the 6th inning almost definitely.
  2 more additions....Philly batting well below the Mendoza line on the road against lefties the last few weeks....also generating very little power.
  Fried- he's been lobbing up some beach balls recently to hitters...but on the road and is now back home where he is much better and is already getting barely half the tickets but the line is popping up and quick....overnight sharp dollas flowing!

  Royals off a home (away) game and a nice win in the first baseball game ever in the state of Nebraska. The Twins beat up on yet another bullpen with 10 more runs yesterday and the Royals are in an 0 for 23 system trend.
