This number seems too good to be true. The Rangers have the better lineup AND have the starting pitching advantage with Mike Minor (5-4, 2.52 ERA) on the mound. And they're getting plus money? Sign me up. My model says Texas wins well over 50 percent of simulations, so this money line provides solid value. Take the Rangers.

Neither the Pirates nor the Marlins will be mistaken for the Murderers' Row Yankees; both teams have lost seven of eight. But here's the difference that has my model pointing to Miami for Saturday: Righty Dario Agrazal will be making his major league debut for Pittsburgh. Just five months ago the Pirates designated him for assignment and were ready to part with him, but no one claimed him. Take the Marlins.

I think Astros rookie Yordan Alvarez, who has crushed three home runs in four games, has really infused energy into a lineup missing George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa even though Houston was still winning without them. My model has the Astros winning this game 77 percent of the time, so this money line is solid value even at this price. Go with the 'Stros.

The Reds have struggled with the bats all year and they're getting worse. Over the last two weeks, they're hitting .204 and averaging a brutal 2.4 runs per game. Mike Minor has been steady and solid, and his road ERA of 2.86 in seven starts is about one run better than Tanner Roark's home split. Texas' offense is averging 5.8 runs on the road and 5.8 runs in June. Jump on the road dog here.

  Here I am again backing Jake the O...so ready to erupt from his unmanageable numbers but the schedule and his division sure is his friend! Today he gets Sparkman on the opposite bump and has 2 straight starts with a 5 and 6 xFIP and the Twins spent all night trying to get their bags going...but doing an even better job against the Royals line up.
  Hard to imagine a team totally stumped by Kyle Gibson turns it around on the road from one game to the next within a series. Last night we got verrry lucky with a 2 out 2 run back from Garver to survive big....this screams 6-1 more than anything after that game last night.

But his splits are quite bad and adding all other factors in plus Lauer is a solid back overall and we have the Dads in this spot on a 17-8 RL trend...we get a team who scored 11 runs AFTER the 8th inning last night....amazing value getting +1.5....take the +2 if it's offered and at -150 or less!

Newcomb v. Nola
Philly sure isn't gonna get back to the hotel and have any effing clue how they fumbled that game away...almost in hand completely more than just once or twice and ran Fried off much earlier than any of them could have hoped. Now they're angry, off a shocking loss, but get another lefty to face on the mound and one not nearly as good as last night.
The money and line movement is completely in our favor and Nola is almost always solid to begin and even through the middle. This value on first 5 is phenomenal all things considered...the card is really great today and this is really really close to a 5% (or more) play here tonight!
