I'll take my chances here with New York in Friday's clash with the Astros. Yankees already won the opener in the series 10-6, giving them 6 straight wins. If that wasn't a strong enough wave of momentum, Yankees Stadium is going to be buzzing around the return of Aaron Judge from the IL tonight. Keep in mind the Yankees got back Giancarlo Stanton from injury and added slugger Edwin Encarnacion in a trade earlier this week. NY has scored 6 or more runs in 5 of their last 6 games and will be up against the struggling Brad Peacock, who has a 5.51 ERA and 1.347 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Yankees counter with James Paxton, who is off a great start and has a 2.15 ERA and 0.954 WHIP in 6 home starts. Bet the Yankees -148!Comment

Easy play here on Cleveland to win at home against the Tigers. Detroit is one of the worst teams in the league, while the Indians are just finally starting to play up to their potential. Cleveland just won 5 of 7 on the road, which included a 3-game sweep in Detroit.
Cleveland won the finale of that series 8-0 behind a complete game shutout from starter Trevor Bauer. Just so happens Bauer is on the mound for the series opener and I expect another dominant effort from him in this one.
Tigers do have a quality starter going in Matt Boyd, but he's coming off a bad start at KC, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits in 4 innings. Even when Boyd throws well its usually not enough for the struggling Detroit offense. Tigers are a mere 1-6 in his last 7 starts.
Indians are 6-1 in Bauer's last 7 starts to open a series and 5-1 in his last 6 starts against Detroit. Take Cleveland!Comment

White Sox right-hander Reynaldo Lopez (4-7, 6.31 ERA) has allowed five runs or more in four of his last five starts overall and owns a 1-4 record behind a bloated 7.28 ERA in six road starts on the season. White Sox are 1-6 in Lopez's last seven road starts.
Texas right-hander Ariel Jurado (4-3, 4.23 ERA) meanwhile may have been ripped for seven runs at Cincinnati last time out, but he has posted a solid 3.10 ERA over 20 1/3 innings of work home at Globe Life Park in 2019.
