4-Unit Play. Take #927 Houston (-1.5, -105) over Cincinnati (7 p.m., Tuesday, June 18)
I will go with the Astros in this one. They are 6-3 in their last nine games and just continues to crank out winning series. Cincinnati is just 3-6 in its last nine games and the Reds are just 30-63 in their last 93 interleague games. Cincinnati is just 1-4 in its last five home games and this team has been struggling. Houston is 25-5 in Justin Verlander's last 30 road starts and 43-19 in his last 62 starts overall. I will back Verlander here and look for a blowout in this one.

OVER 9 KANSAS CITY @ SEATTLE | 6/18 | 10:10 PM EDT
4:06 PM
The last time Royals starter Homer Bailey faced the Mariners in April, he gave up seven runs off three homers in a loss and the game went Over. The Mariners are the best Over team in MLB, but Tuesday's play is about Yusei Kikuchi, who has gone Over in his last seven starts. Only one of his 15 starts have stayed Under. Over is the play.

OVER 9.5 PHILADELPHIA @ WASHINGTON | 6/18 | 7:05 PM EDT
3:11 PM
The Phillies have won four of Jake Arrieta's last five starts and all five games were against winning teams. Four of those games went Over the total. Patrick Corbin has gone Over the total in his last three and it was mostly because of him. He's in awful form and bad hitting teams have been spanking him. He's allowed 20 runs between his last three games. Over (-111) is the top play.

Yusei Kikuchi is in a big rut with a 10.20 ERA his last four starts. But prior to that he was solid, he's been better at home and the Royals are hitting .226 against lefties, the second-worst mark in baseball. Homer Bailey has a 6.75 road ERA and was hammered by the Mariners for seven runs earlier this season in KC.

Jacob deGrom is going to deliver, but the Mets are 4-10 when he starts. The Braves' offense is the hottest unit in the game, batting .300 with a .948 OPS over the last two-plus weeks while averging 7.8 runs per game. And Julio Teheran has been even better than deGrom lately, with a ridiculous 0.81 ERA over his last eight starts. Opponents are hitting only .197 against him all year The price is right to go against deGrom and back the red-hot Braves bats.

L.A. ANGELS @ TORONTO | 6/18 | 7:07 PM EDT

Across the board, the Angels' offensive has outperformed the Blue Jays. That includes the last two weeks, in which L.A. is averaging 5.8 runs per game with an OPS of .831. Toronto is batting .234 this month, but only .208 at home and .237 against left-handers. Tyler Skaggs has been overall unimpressive, but he held the Blue Jays to two runs over six innings earlier this year. Meanwhile, Mike Trout and Albert Pujols are lifetime 13-of-27 against Marcus Stroman.
