The Padres travel east to Pittsburgh following an impressive three-game sweep of the Brewers. The Pirates rallied past the Tigers in Wednesday's second game of their interleague series at PNC Park. Pittsburgh has slumped to a dreadful 1-7 record in the last eight home series openers, as the Pirates have won consecutive games once since May 21 when the Bucs won the final three games at San Diego. Padres' southpaw Eric Lauer beat the Pirates at PNC Park last month in a 4-3 win as I'll back the Padres here.
