Strasburg v. Alcantara
All at bats for the Nats with this away contest and Alcantara is right there near the top of my fade list with his xFIP over 5 and his ERA right around 3.50! He continues to skip by these teams on a regular basis and like most starters for the Marlins do a better job for their lineup than vice versa. The Nats however, seem to have him figured out as they shelled him in the last outing.
Strasburg is a solid back each and every time with his extremely excellent metrics and hard luck from his rarely healthy offense and hideous bullpen. We won't worry about that as much tonight as the Nats get to Sandy early and SS holds his own keeping the Fish bats to 3 or less and we cruise to a RL victory!
Marlins are 5-16 against the RL the last 21 times they lost, never led, and struck out at least 8 times also...for over 50% ROI!

Buehler v. Lambert
This is about Buehler and his last performance and several as well...but even more about Lambert. He started off nice with a couple solid starts against the Cubs home and away and a couple of victories for his team. Since it has NOT been the same story...2 no decision is the bright side...the bad is how much worse he was and now he gets the Dodgers visiting Coors off a nasty set with Arizona and a Rockies team who handled their business rather easily over San Fran.
Buehler has been phenomenal...but the Dodgers offense looked like a no show in AZ with REALLY excellent hitting conditions. No rest here...but this spot screams a wake up from a PROLIFIC line up.
Dodgers 3-1 after losing on the road and scoring 3 or less runs
15-5 record not accounting for the loss
All 9 at bats for Bellinger and the Rookie Co.
Buehler has been good in Coors against non-2017 Kyle Freelands
10-2 is the record of teams whose starter Ked 15 or more batters last time starting last 10 years

Young v. Beede
Hmmm...Alex Young is getting his major league debut tonight at Oracle Park and the Giants are a full game favorite with Tyler Beede on the mound. For inexperienced or reduced outs type bettors out there....or just flat unaware of options...believe it or not that -120ish full game number for the Giants with just the 2 starters accounted for has Alex Young as chalk of -110 or bigger. I am not the biggest fan of MLB debut backing spots no matter how impressive the AAA work was...but if taken into account the opponent here...both offense and pitcher wise...this is a bargain! Beede is likely getting money first 5 because he just got whooped by these Dbacks, cannot avoid the dreaded free pass (25 in 28 starter innings), allows too many HRs, and has an astronomical BABIP...this last number is fluke-ier than most of my analytical usage...but in short spurts speaks volumes to how it has gone...luck or not and another reason Vegas feels incredibly liable by this home starter.
We call the 'books bluff here and hit up the road chalk first 5 for what I consider to be one of the best values on the board this week. Keep Alex Young calmed down for his first ever start and we roll for several innings...and past that we have no worries...great use of the shorter bet and late inning shenanigans!

Anderson v. Canning
Both teams within division and no rest and off wins that went way under or solidly under. Additional factors place this is an excellent play on Under spot that is on a 14 of 20 Under stretch and both pitchers I like to take advantage of their opposing lineups, one off travel and the other off largely only spurts of offense from 1 player and not a dominant team effort scoring the runs.
