    Clevinger v. Means

Clevinger is back again now...off a second much shorter stint on the IL but after backing.him thinking he would.be sharp...and he, in a word, was not...not at all! Now we also get Means off a stint as well and a number as ordinary as 9! I like this to get to the bullpens early no matter the starters' performances and this might be a semi-close game in my estimation as well! Sure feels like this is a 9-6 type final here tonight! Solid excellent value on such a number at 9!

This play is also part of a system we play as another arm off of our top MLB system: System A and it yields an 24-9 Over record on this season for 35% ROI or more and 31-16 the past 2 seasons.

    Lynn v. Chirinos

Will expand later but this is gonna drop tooo much and I don't wanna waste the dog value! Rays off a getaway day game that went 18 full innings and got the W all before traveling.back home much MUCH later than planned!

Then they get the streaking Rangers and streaking Lance Lynn!

Will post full analysis later...did not want to miss this price which will. not. last.

Sneak : Wacha allows a .429 wOBA to right handed hitters...ahem...like Machado!

    Wacha v. Lauer

Feels too easy and an even better play than the full game side on SD that I feel is also undervalued. The Dads have been hitting right handed pitching well...while the Cards are flat out terrible facing left handed pitching for the last 3 weeks or so...placing themselves in the offensive company of Detroit, Miami, San Fran, and Baltimore....ahem...below them!!

Eric Lauer is one of the better things going for SD on the pitching side of the game...and his home/road splits are WILD trending toward backing him at home...both against right and left handed hitters. Here we get a stud home pitcher against a team who can't hit lefties over the past month and don't have to take into account the bullpen.

Michael Wacha is always just one more BB from getting sent back into the pen and I think Machado takes him deep pretty early on!

    Kelly v. Anderson

Shaun Anderson hasn't faced many teams at all in his short career but somehow in just his 9th career start is going to face the Dbacks for the 3rd time already! He fared a little better last outing than in the first attempt...but now a very above average Arizona lineup against righties...close to the best one going for the last half a month gets to face a pitcher they know as well as any in June of a season. This is mostly a play on them being able to get to Anderson pretty quickly and often through the early part of his start.

Merrill Kelly has also faced this very poor Giants team twice before as well and while it's hard to trust them to help out with a run early on...they also have been slightly better recently and both these starters are going out with an identical xFIP of 4.55!

Assassin Sports (MLB) - Chicago Cubs

Chicago Cubs and have won three of their last five games, and will send Cole Hamels to the mound for game one of the series, who is 6-2 on the season with a 2.92 ERA. Despite the Reds’ dominance against the Cubs at home, Hamels has pitched superb this season and is 3-0 in his last three starts against the Reds....
Going for the Reds will be Sonny Gray whom has gone 3-5 with a 4.03 ERA in 15 starts on the year, including 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA in his last three starts and 2-2 with a 4.26 ERA in eight starts here at home.... Grey is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in two career starts against the Cubs. Cincinnati is 6-1 in their last seven games when playing the Cubs at home.
Hames has been on fire of late with a 1.00 ERA over his last five starts and he has completely dominated the Reds over his career, going 11-1 with a 1.71 ERA against them, including 4-1 with a 2.12 ERA in seven career starts against them here at GAB.
I think Hamels will make the difference in this game because of the better arm which should make my Cubbies my pick for this game!

The Cubs should be riding high into Cincinnati tonight after pulling off a come from behind win yesterday. In the Win the Cubs also saw newly acquired closer Craig Kimbrel record his 1st save as a Cub. The Cubs look to get this road trip off to a good start and catch a Cincinnati Red team returning home from a West Coast Road trip where they lost 4 in a row. Cole Hamels has been razor sharp and has owned the Reds over his career. Hamels has started 18 times against Cincinnati and has a ERA of 1.77 and a WHIP of 1.00. In those 18 starts his team is 17-1. Hamels in his last 5 starts has given up a total of 4 runs and going at least 7 innings in all 5 starts. Tonight he will face Sonny Grey who in his last 3 starts has an ERA of 6.00 and a WHIP of 1.53. In those 15 innings of work he has allowed 8 walks and when you have given up 4 HR’s in the last 2 games control problems are going to kill you and it has. We are going 1st 5 innings as to eliminate the Bullpens from the equation. Even though Kimbrel recorded the save yesterday I don’t want to have to deal with the Bullpen. Hamels vs Gray right now is a MISMATCH and I want that match up over 5 innings. Side Note Hamels seems to pitch even better on the weekends where you see bigger crowds as over the last 2 seasons when Hamels starts on a Friday his team is 11-1 with the opposition averaging just 2.7 runs a game. Hamels team is 12-5 the last 2 seasons when he starts on the road at night. The Cubs are 28-11 as a favorite of -150 or less this season. Lastly Cincinnati is 15-33 following game where they scored one run or less the last 2 seasons. I’m on Cubs 1st 5 innings.

TAKE CHICAGO CUBS 1st 5 Innings (-130) as MARCO’S 3% PITCHER MISMATCH PLAY
