The Angels' Tyler Skaggs has turned his season around with consecutive solid starts, while the Athletics' Brett Anderson was rocked his last time out. But as they face off Saturday, Skaggs takes on an A's offense that is hitting .281 with an .852 OPS against lefites, while the Angels have struggled vs. southpaws. Specifically, Saturday's A's lineup is a lifetime .303 against Skaggs in 145 at-bats. The value lies with Oakland.

The Diamondbacks rank No. 2 in MLB in hitting against left-handed pitching, with a .290 average and .860 OPS. They get to face Drew Pomeranz, who they've torched for seven runs in 6.1 innings and two starts. Meanwhile, the D'backs counter with Zack Greinke -- opponents are hitting .195 against him in road starts and he sports a 1.37 ERA in five career starts at San Francisco.

Both Julio Teheran and Steven Matz have been rocked in their last two starts. But Teheran has a solid track history against the Mets with a 2.17 ERA over 17 starts. Matz has been a better pitcher at home, but the Braves' offense has too many weapons, averging 6.8 runs in June. In what amounts to a pick 'em game, I'll pick Atlanta.

Marlins hurler Jordan Yamamoto faced the Cardinals in his debut and shut them down, then faced him again in his following start and used that experience to do even better. He faced the Phillies in his third start and allowed two runs over five innings. Now he gets Philly again on Saturday. The Marlins' offense has improved to the point it's averaging more runs over the month of June than the Phillies' unit. Look for it to give Yamamoto enough support against Zach Eflin, who's coming off a dud performance.
