    MLB | Orioles vs Rays
Play on: Orioles +1½ +142 at pinnacle

5-STAR WAGER USING THE RUN LINE ON THE BALTIMORE ORIOLES (915) AS THEY TAKE ON THE TAMPA BAY RAYS SET TO START AT 7:10 PM EST.
The Rays are coming off a 6-3 win over Baltimore in the first of a three-game series, but one that taxed the bullpen for 7 innings of relief work. To be fair, the seven innings of bullpen relief is part of a new and creative strategy where the Rays use an opener instead of a starter and then will upon occasion have a starter enter the game in the second or third inning relieving the opener. The innings of work though add up and this strategy has caused the Rays to lead the Majors with 393 1/3 innings. The All-Star break will be welcomed by several of these relievers.
The Orioles are bringing up Asher Wojciechowski from the minors and a pitcher they acquired from the Cleveland Indians Monday I exchange for cash considerations. He last pitched in the Majors for the Cincinnati Reds in 2017 and was recently selected as an ASll-Star pitcher for the Triple-A All Star game. Her is 8-23 with a solid 3.61 ERA in 15 starts for Triple-A Columbus this season. So, he is not going to a pushover for the Rays.
The Rays are a money burning 7-17 against the run line after a game where the bullpen threw seven or more innings this season.
