  Another game in Ohio where the weather will be very conducive to runs. Again, the ball should travel very well with a temp in the 90s, high humidity, and a feels-like temp over 100.
  
  Jakob Junis has put together back-to-back Quality Starts in which he last 7 innings both times (rare for him) and allowed a combined 3 runs. Junis has had trouble getting to a third consecutive Quality Start, and tonight's opponent figures to provide more trouble.
  
  The Indians own a solid .47 BB/K ratio, and they've hit Junis very well (.350 BA, .973 OPS, .417 wOBA). Factor in Junis' sky-high 28% HR/FB rate on the road, and it figures to be a short, tough night for the KC righty.
  
  Adam Plutko certainly won't be winning a Cy Young award any time soon. His 6.13 xFIP at home is awful, and his 21.3% HR/FB rate at home is pathetic as well. KC's hitters didn't do much against Plutko the first time they faced him this season, so I expect them to make some adjustments for tonight's rematch. Hey, if the Detroit hitters could put 5 runs on Plutko in their second go-round against him this season, then anyone can.
  
  The only drawback here is a solid Indians bullpen. KC's pen, with the league's #24 xFIP and #28 K/BB ratio, should be good for some late runs.

The Philadelphia Phillies will look for a series win over the Pirates along with their first three game win streak since June 25-27 when the two teams meet at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday night. Zach Eflin (7-9, 4.16 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) will get the start for the Phillies and he will be opposed by Joe Musgrove (6-8, 4.31 ERA, 1.23 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Pirates. The Phillies have posted a 4-1 record in their last five road games where they faced a team with a winning % of .500 or lower and they have that same 4-1 record in their last five games versus a right-handed starter. They have also won eight of their last eleven games where they faced a team from the NL Central Division and they have gone 5-2 in Eflin's last seven starts where he went up against a team with a losing record. The Pirates, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five games following a loss and they are also 1-4 in their last five games where they faced a right-handed starter. They have also lost six of their last eight games versus a team from the NL East Division and they are an awful 1-6 since the All-Star break. Throw in the fact that the Phillies are a lights out 7-1 in the last eight head to head meetings between the two teams and we're going to take them at the small underdog price to get the road win in Pittsburgh on Saturday night.

As we know teams often don’t fare well in their 1st game back but if they do lose that first game back they are strong plays in their next game. The Pirates will be facing Zach Eflin who lately has looked more like a Piñata than a major league pitcher. In his last 4 starts he’s allowed 22 runs in 21 innings of work. 40 men have reached base on him in 21 innings of work. That’s nearly to men an inning and when you keep putting guys on they will score. Joe Musgrove has allowed a grand total of 8 earned runs in his last 5 starts. That’s 8 runs in 26 innings of work with a strikeout to walk ratio of 29-4. The Phillies are just 6-18 this year as a Dog of +150 or less and over the last 2 years when installed as an Underdog at any price they are just 35-65. Everything adds up to a Pittsburgh victory.
