I just can't pass up a play here on the Mariners as a big road dog against the Tigers. Neither of these teams are any good, but it's worth noting that Seattle has 13 more win, are averaging 1.1 runs more per game than Detroit. I think the line should be a lot closer to a pick'em.
Tigers are getting some love here because of the fact that they send out Matt Boyd. While Boyd has been one of their better starters, Detroit is a mere 3-13 in his last 16 starts and 1-6 in his last 7 at home. The numbers are not great for Seattle starter Yusei Kikuchi, but he recently owned the Tigers, yielding just 2 runs in 6 2/3 innings. He's also fresh off a strong start against the Padres, where he allowed just 1 run on 4 hits with 8 K's in 5 innings.
Mariners are a dominant 15-3 on the season vs teams who have won 38% or less of their games and going back over multiple seasons are a strong 39-18 in their last 57 road games agains a team that's won fewer than 40% of their home games. Take Seattle!

The Rockies might be sending their best pitcher out here, but they don't deserve to be favored. The D Backs took game 1 yesterday and are 6-4 and only 2.4 games out of the wild card. While they may not make it, they are still trying. Rockies are trending the other direction here just 3-7 their last 10.
Gray has had his struggles against the D Backs with a 3-5 record and a 5.30. Gallen is a young stud despite his 2-34 record. Look at these numbers. 1.86 road ERA and a .95 ERA his last 3 starts. Give me the team that has a chance and the better pitcher.
