Anthony DeSclafini has been the more established pitcher this season in this matchup. Both of these guys have struggled over their last few starts and both teams are the weak links in the NL Central. I do think Cincinnati has upside with Aristides Aquino and the power he will bring for years to come. This is a team that is 8 games back and if they ever were going to make a run for the wildcard it has to be now and it would have to be historic. Cincinnati still has hope while Pittsburgh has all but packed it in. The Reds have the pitching to be a good team, if they could get another big hitter they could be a threat next year.
