Ross v. Quintana
Both these pitchers have been pitching much better than their numbers show, and this is definitely a contrarian play with the wind blowing in again today at Wrigley. it is less intense than it was yesterday where we lost our Over play late in that game in ugly 'error' fashion. The Nats lineup is just hitting too too well recently and likely can do a large amount of the work themselves. If they can get to Quintana early enough they can expose the Cubs pen which will likely yield late game runs...and the Nats will no matter what, come to the plate 9 times today. The Cubs have had 2 straight days at home with abysmal performances at the plate, and while Joe Ross is a guy I like to back, I think him combined with the Nats also ugly bullpen should be gotten to a least a little bit with the likes of Rizzo and Bryant and Baez unlikely to continue their terrible hitting at home for a 3rd straight game. This isn't a game I expect to be in the double up range for the total...but at the same time...sure does smell awful fishy that Vegas hangs a number in the 9 and 9.5 range after 2 days of less than 9 with a 7 on Thursday!
