I like the value here with Los Angeles as a massive home dog against the Indians in Monday's series opener. I would expect a big effort here by the Angels knowing how important these games are for Cleveland.
It's also a bit of a flat spot for the Indians, who had to be celebrating on the plane ride out west after taking 2 of 3 on the road against division rival Minnesota. Note that while they won the series, they are just 4-6 over their last 10.
Cleveland will send out Shane Bieber and he's off a strong start at home against the White Sox. However, Indians are a mere 1-4 in his last 5 starts following a Quality Start. Indians as a team are also just 2-7 in their last 9 road games vs a team with a winning home record.
Angels will have Patrick Sandoval on the mound and he's got a 2.89 ERA and 1.072 WHIP in 2 starts at home and has allowed just 1 run on 2 hits with 12 K's in his last 8 1/3 innings of work. Take Los Angeles!

Chicago still has a 1.5-game lead for the last Wild Card spot, but after losing 3 straight this feels like a must-win game. Hard to not like the Cubs delivering with Kyle Hendricks on the mound and the Padres sending out Cal Quantrill. Hendricks is one of the better NL starters. Quantrill has a 5.11 ERA in 15 starts and a 11.15 ERA in his last 3 outings. It's also worth pointing out Hendricks will be up against a San Diego offense that has scored a total of 9 runs in their last 5 games. Give me the Cubs -135!
