  Much ballyhoo is happening about the bullpen disasters...and while that will certainly help us here today as well...I think what is being overlooked is the Mets can STILL win this series and was great at the plate last night....and that was in a Max started game...today is Anibal Sanchez...a placeholder until playoff starting pitching rotations. Wheeler is better but the Nats offense is so damned hot....Wheeler also handles himself great at the plate and therefore the Mets aren't even throwing up a given out each time through the order!

They go into one of the toughest places in the league to play and we are expecting them to lay a goose egg tonight. They won't hit the 80-point mark as they've done in their last two games, we have them handicapped for a mid-60 performance, which would mean Connecticut will have to score 85-90 for us to lose. While the Sun are capable, we see them handling their business but focusing on the defensive side of the ball more so than anything as the postseason approaches. Keep in mind, this series has seen the two teams play to the Under in 4 of the last 6 meetings (1 push). Not to mention, the Sun have played to the Under in 9 of their last 14 vs the West and 3 of their last 4 (1 push) vs a team with a losing SU record. The Wings are 11-3 to the Under in their last 14 games while playing on 3 or more days rest and 13-6 in their last 19 on the road. As I said, we the number has inflated a tad and we are all over the ?under? in this spot.
