Like the set up here a lot, especially with Quantrill on the hill for SD with over an 11 ERA his last 3 starts and given up 16 runs in just over 9 innings of work in his last 2 games. The Cubs are in a dogfight for the NL Central (4.5 games behind St Louis and also 1.5 games in front of AZ for a wild card) and every game counts. The Cubs dropped 3 straight and this is a HUGE game for them. Add in the fact Kyle Hendricks gets the start for the Cubs, and his last outing against the Padres resulted in a loss, so we have a little revenge factor here, and he might have his way as San Diego is hitting just .179 as a team their last 5 games. SD is 4-10 in Quantrill's last 14 starts and Chicago is 7-3 the last 10 in this series. A must win for Cubs against a very beatable team on the road here.
