I expect better results from the Houston bats the second time around. Wade Miley takes the mound for the home team tonight and the lefty has been outstanding at home this season with a 2.84 ERA & 1.15 WHIP. Miley will be eager to atone for his most recent outing, a rare poor performance against Seattle. Houston enters on a 21-7 run when Miley starts, including 4 straight wins at home. This pick falls into one of my top MLB systems and this is a massive bounce back game for Oakland after being routed last night. This will be the 4th time Oakland has faced Miley this season and he has struggled over his last 5 starts with an ERA of 6.11 with opponents hitting .392 against him. This will be just the 2nd time Houston has faced Roark* this season and he allowed just to earned runs over 6 innings the first time he faced Houston this season. Roark has an ERA of 2.88 over his last 4 starts with opponents hitting .245 against him and I expect a solid start from him here tonight after allowing no earned runs in his last outing that lasted 6.2 innings. Oakland is 22-5 in their last 27 games after a loss and 21-5 in their last 26 games after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game

Edwin Edwin Edwin...oh boy. You were an amazing fade with the Jays this season...and then you flipped the script on us when arriving with a team even worse than your previous. Since that little spurt of getting Vegas a shit ton of money back its been just as ugly as early in the season.

This Yankee squad just spent the weekend whipping their archrival then carrying over to Monday to end the chance completely Boston could repeat as champs! Without rest of a permanent starter to fill in for CC they get to play in the Motor City and face a batting practice pitcher while the Tigers vie for the top draft pick. It appears Cortes will open with Cessa as a primary going deeper...but the combo of the 2 plus other bullpen pieces. (Paxton getting them solid rest last night) should make for as long a night for the Tigers lineup as it will be a short night for Jackson...even with Judge getting the night off!

The champs were eliminated last night...Dombrowski is the scapegoat just 11 months removed from a ring...and the Yanks are the ones who eliminated them...at home...with Big Papi there running on the field and alive and well...and on no rest they must travel to play young, solid, playing for "something" Blue Jays!
