Hudson v. Senzatela

Wow....keeping up with the theme of WHAT THE HELL?

Hudson ain't messing around...and has only improved since 8/1. His xFIP isn't all that desirable of late compared to his 2.00 ERA during the stretch...but the Cards lost a very important game last night against an eliminated team....and the series will emphatically be evened tonight!

Senzatela at home is quite poor and his splits there are quite hideous....he barely Ks more than he BBs and he almost strands just half his baserunners. Cards get out of the 1 run funk from last night and crush out an 8-2 or 10-4 type win!

Hamels v. Paddack

Damn near even line after a wild 9-8 game in the first game of the series. Hamels coming from the left side like Quintana last night hopefully can control the Padre bats better than Jose. Paddack has been nothing but a fade possibility for a while now and with the Cubs seeing the Rockies. win against the Cards last night and the Yelich injury they realize there can be more screwing around!

DJ Reyburn behind the plate represents an excellent fail safe for Maddon et al as he averaged an away team victory over 60% of the time and an entire run+ differential for road teams!
