IM A PATRIOT - Moves back to a trip at which he ran a speed fig good enough to make him a contender today. All systems look good for this gelding. Last workout, 2nd fastest of the day, shows he's fit and ready. Speed figs on the grass point to this animal as a legit contender. Has the best in the field for this distance and surface. This gelding is rounding his way back into shape. Should run well today. EXCELISBERG - The September 17th race at Presque Isle Downs was at a class level of (95). Dropping down the class scale drastically, so he should be in a good spot to win. Richison brings him back again. I suggest you stay with this hot gelding. The 88 most recent race speed figure looks good in black and white. Lets try to beat the morning-line choices with this gelding. Just missed last out, but ran a decent race. This horse has the class to win the race. A tactical ride by Oliveros, and this one could bound home the winner.

TACHYON - Should have at least finished in the money in the last couple months in a short distance race to be worth it at minimal odds in a sprint. The insufficiency of early speed in the last one, a route race, is a bit alarming. ALASAAL - This equine doesn't have a tenacious temperament. Often finishes in the place or show spot. When looking at today's class figure, he will have to notch a much better speed rating than in the last race to be competitive in this turf sprint. STAY AWESOME - A runner should have more speed at 1 mile 70 yards to get me riled up about his chances to win at 7 furlongs. Didn't look so great last out. Probably won't make a winning move today. This less than sharp equine ran a somewhat easily forgotten speed figure last time out. He shouldn't run much better and will likely lose in today's race running that figure.

I think I'M IN A HURRY is a quite good choice. Exhibits the look of a profitable play, averaging a solid 86 speed fig which is one of the best in this field. Has ran well in dirt sprint races. The Equibase Speed Figure of 86 from his latest contest looks solid in here. YO BERBS - This gelding looks good in here since Morales has a solid winning percentage with horses going this distance. Should come out strong - I have liked the way this gelding has moved sharply to the front end recently.

OVER FUNDED - Pish brings him right back. I advocate you stick with this hot gelding. This rider and handler have a favorable return on investment when they work together. HOLY SUNRISE - Stretching a thoroughbred out to a route after two sprints is a classic conditioning move. On board this animal on September 3rd and Murray is right back in the irons today. Recent speed ratings show dominant pattern of improvement.

IZA INNOCENT - I'm forecasting a lackluster go out of him this time around. GOBLER - Don't figure that this vulnerable equine has what it takes to be victorious in today's event.
