Here is a stat for you. The Padres have lost 8 games out of their last 10. In ALL 8 losses they were by 2 runs or more, so every opponent who beat them covered the runline. Padres hitting .181 as a team their last 5, their starter Lucchesi has over a 7 ERA his last 5 starts, facing Kershaw tonight and even with limited pitches for Kershaw they should dominate early and hold a lead. Both games the last 2 days LA covered the runline, I see no difference here and with Kershaw being a southpaw, you should note that SD is hitting left handers at a horrific .105 as a team. Kershaw is 10-1 his last 11 at Petco park, and Padres are moving young players in and out of their lineup non stop.Comment
