We split yesterday on individual games, but turned a nice profit as the Series bet on the Yankees came in. The Twins have lost 16 straight playoff games, 12 to the Yankees. Anyone who tells you to bet against a trend like that is a crook or an idiot or a liar. You NEVER bet against a trend like that. We didn’t, and we ended up with a nice profit on that ALDS Series. Doubled the profit with the Game 3 side play.
Today, I’m hopping right back on the Astros. I still maintain that the Rays will not win 3 straight games, and if they do, then I go down with the Astros. That happens from time to time – but when a team is up 2 games to none in a 5 game series, they win the series NINETY PERCENT OF THE TIME. Find me a better investment for my money, and I’ll take it. It’s a steep price tonight, as the Astros are at -228 and climbing. Go with Verlander tonight and if all goes as planned, the ALCS will be set.
