Analysis:
We use 3 NBA Models, all developed differently to pick different ways. They help us SPOT Potential Totals and all 3 have agreed that this number is too low. It is not the only thing we use but it is a starting point. We also use techniques that as far as I know have not yet been discovered by others including books. While these are not fail proof techniques they have been very profitable over the last few years. We also use offensive and defensive efficiency numbers, pace, projected pa€ce, venue trends, league and division trends, along with other more "Standard" Handicapping Principles to get our final number and possibly make a play rated at 1* 2* and 3*.


It is too early in the season to determine pace/tempo but we know that each paced well in their 1st contest and we also know that the Nets are projected to pace well this season, as they did last season, finishing #10 in a league of 30. Interestingly these teams have played Under the last 5 meetings although OVER is 9-4 last 13 on this court between these two. It is a new season and new ways of playing and what we have learned bodes well for the OVER. We have a projected total of 236.6 and that easily makes this a 3* Play at 231 or better..

The Washington Nationals will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the 2019 World Series when they take on the Houston Astros at Nationals Park in Washington, DC on Friday night. Anibal Sanchez (1-0, 0.71 ERA) will get the start for the Nationals and he will be opposed by Zack Greinke (0-2, 6.43 ERA), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Astros. Washington has posted a perfect 7-0 record in their last seven interleague games where they faced a team with a winning % of .500 or higher and they are a perfect 8-0 ATS in their last eight playoff games. They have also won 47 of their last 70 games following a win and they are a lights out 59-28 in their last 77 games where they faced a right-handed starter. The Astros, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-4 in their last five games where they faced a team that scored five runs or more in their previous game and they have lost nine of their last thirteen World Series games. Throw in the fact that the Nats have won 18 of their last 24 home games against the Astros along with the fact that they are 21-5 in the last 26 head to head meetings between the two teams overall and we're going to take them at the small underdog price to get the home win in DC on Friday evening.

The Boston Celtics were manhandled in their first game against the 76ers but lets face the Sixers will be one of the two top teams in the East. Toronto needed overtime at home to beat the Pelicans and now the NBA champs come to Boston to face off the Celtics. Kemba Walker will have a better game and I see a better shooting performance from Jayson Tatum tonight. Give me the Celtics tonight and hurry up and grab the 2.5 because this number will move. The home team in this series is 24-9 ATS and the Celtics tonight get their first 'W' of the season.
