Navy is averaging 37.9 points a game while UConn is putting up 21.6 per game. The Huskies have one of the worst defenses in the nation, and they allow 196.4 yards per game on the ground. UConn hasn't seen the triple option in some time, and I don't think the Huskies will be able to slow down this Navy team that rushes for 350.7 yards per game. Over is the play.

My numbers tell me that Navy should cover this spread, but I've never been a fan of taking option teams to cover spreads this large. Nor am I a fan of taking UConn to cover anything. Instead I'll take the Under because Navy is an option team that moves at a slow pace and limits possessions. And while UConn isn't an option team, it also moves at a slow pace in an effort stay within striking range of much better opponents.

It's been a season-long struggle for the Huskies. Even though they were able to get a win against UMass, it hasn't been good on either side of the ball. Right now, Navy is one of the hottest teams in the American Athletic Conference, and the Midshipmen are playing very good defense. They'll shut down UConn and cover.
