1-Unit Play. Take #806 Arkansas (-14.5) over South Dakota (9 p.m.)

6-Unit Play. Take #810 Oregon (-6.5) over Houston (9 p.m.)
I think that Oregon is going to get a blowout here. This is a big home game for the Ducks, who already have nice wins over both Boise State and Memphis. This is not the same caliber Houston team as we have seen in years past. They have lost a lot of talent and experience, especially in the backcourt, over the last two offseasons. And I think that they are going to take a step back here. The Cougars are still really athletic and talented. But that's not enough to go into Oregon and beat a very well coached and more talented Ducks squad.

2-Unit Play. Take #816 Washington (-13) over Montana (11 p.m.)
I'm not high on this Washington team. But they really should dominate this game. Montana has one of its worst teams in years and this is really going to be a lean year for the Grizzlies. They are coming off a loss to D-II Montana Tech their last time out and the Grizz have already been blown out by Stanford and Arkansas. This is more of a play against Montana than it is a play on the young Huskies. But either way Washington should clear this bar.

1-Unit Play. Take #817 Temple (+9.5) over USC (11 p.m.)
USC is young and talented. But Temple doesn't scare easily and I think that they will find a way to hang around in this game. The Owls have an experienced backcourt and two go-to guys in Nate Pierre-Louis and Quinton Rose. The Owls can dig in defensively

1-Unit Play. Take #830 LSU (+1.5) over Utah State (7 p.m.)
The last time that Utah State beat a team from a major conference was 2013 when they beat USC and Mississippi State. Both of those games were at home, though. It has been over a decade since they beat a team from a power conference on a neutral court. They may win this game. They may not. But I don't think that Utah State should be favored here.

1-Unit Play. Take #835 Miami (+4.5) over Florida (Noon)
I think that Florida might be the most overrated team in college basketball. Miami is flaky as hell. But now that they are playing their talented freshmen more, this team is starting to find itself a bit. Miami is shooting the ball well right now and should embrace the underdog role against an in-state rival. I'll take the points and look for this to be a one- or two-possession game late.

2-Unit Play. Take #837 Missouri State (+2) over St. Joseph's (2:30 p.m.)
Missouri State kind of ran into a buzzsaw yesterday as Miami shot the lights out and the Bears couldn't keep up. However, I think that they are going to get the win in their second game here. I like this team's makeup and I think that they are going to own the Missouri Valley this year.

1-Unit Play. Take #840 Buffalo (-5) over Towson (7 p.m.)
Buffalo will avoid a letdown and get out some of the frustration from that Connecticut loss here against an overmatched opponent.

2-Unit Play. Take #846 Villanova (-6.5) over Mississippi State (2:30 p.m.)
Miss State can't play at this level. Especially without Nick Weatherspoon, who is one of their top players. I don't mind the Bulldogs and all, they have some nice pieces in Reggie Perry and Robert Woodward, but Villanova is out of their league. I've seen the Wildcats win games like this time and time again so I feel a lot more comfortable backing them here.

1-Unit Play. Take #867 Indiana State (+3) over Loyola Marymount (4 p.m.)
Loyola Marymount shouldn't be favored here. Indiana State is 0-4. But they have played a tough schedule and haven't played altogether terrible basketball. ISU has faced four better teams than Loyola, and nearly knocked off Dayton and Duquesne. Loyola played and shot out of its mind yesterday against an overmatched Air Force team. They won't shoot that well today and will have a harder time with a Sycamores team that really, really wants to get that first win.

2-Unit Play. Take #7680 Iona (-12) over Stetson (6 p.m.)
Stetson is one of the worst teams in college basketball. Iona is not. They are one of the two or three top teams in the Metro and they will once again be in the mix for an NCAA Tournament slot. Iona is a high-powered offensive team, and when they get rolling they can turn out people's lights. The Gaels have not played well in either of their first two games. But they are stepping way down in competition here and should roll.

1-Unit Play. Take #7686 Kentucky (-27.5) over Mt. St. Mary's (7 p.m.)
This play may be found in Added Games or College Extra.

2-Unit Play. Take #7708 Monmouth (-7) over Kennesaw State (8:30 p.m.)
Kennesaw State is one of the weakest programs in college basketball. They are fringe D-I and I think that they are going to get rolled here. King Rice has a decent squad this year and I think that Monmouth is undervalued right now. They have played a brutal schedule - Kansas State, Kansas and Pitt all on the road - and they should be able to stretch their legs a big here against an overmatched opponent.

1-Unit Play. TEASER: Take #802 Davidson (-3) over Wake Forest (7:30 p.m.) AND Take #831 North Texas (+11.5) over Rhode Island (4:30 p.m.)

This season with 4 returning starters including both guards they are off to a 4-1 start and veteran coach Herb Sendek is very excited about this team. Santa Clara also has revenge from last season as they lost as 4 point fav, 68-66, in a game that was also at home. Idaho St team finished last season #323 and started this season with a new coach bringing in a new system. Idaho St’s Defense efficiency is #337 and this is the best offense they’ve faced.
