NBA | Heat vs Celtics
Play on: Celtics -6 -109 at GTBets
Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Boston Celtics -6
The Miami Heat are in a very tough spot tonight. They will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back, their 3rd game in 4 days and their 8th game in 13 days tonight. Not to mention, they needed overtime to beat the Raptors on the road last night. They won’t have much left in the tank for Boston tonight.
Meanwhile, the Celtics come in on two days’ rest, so they are fresh and ready to go. The Celtics are a perfect 7-0 at home this season with home of the best home-court advantages in the NBA. They are scoring 116.0 points per game at home this season.
All five of Miami’s road losses this season have come by 7 points or more. Boston is a perfect 9-0 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record this season. Miami is 1-6-1 ATS in tis last eight games as a road dog of 5.0 to 10.5 points. The Heat are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games playing on zero rest. Bet the Celtics Wednesday.

NBA | Wolves vs Mavs
Play on: Wolves +5 -115 at Bovada
1* Free Play on Wolves +5 -115
While the Timberwolves (10-9) are struggling to stay positive, the Mavericks (14-6) have jumped out to a lead in the Southwest. Tonight, these two teams will go head to head in Dallas.
Minnesota has only 10 wins on the season, but seven of those victories have come away from home. In fact, the Wolves are undefeated over their last four road games. Out of their last four games overall, Minnesota has lost by more than two points just once.
On average, the Timberwolves are scoring 113.7 points while allowing 114.4 points per game.
The Timberwolves have legitimate scoring threats in both Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. While Towns is averaging 25.9 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, Wiggins is averaging 24.8 points per game.
Dallas has dropped only six games all year, but four of those losses have come at home. Perhaps the largest thing working against the Mavericks tonight will be the fact that they’ll be playing the second game of a back-to-back. Dallas has only managed a victory of more than seven points in one of their last four games.
On average, the Mavericks are scoring 117.8 points while allowing 109.2 points per game.
While Luka Doncic is averaging, 30.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 9.4 assists per game, he’s the only member of this Dallas team scoring at least 17 points per game.

NCAA-B | Boise State vs New Mexico
Play on: Boise State +4½ -110 at sportsbook
1* NCAAB - Free Pick on Boise State +4½
Boise State is worth a look here as a road dog against the Lobos. This line opened at New Mexico -6 and just keeps dropping, as the sharp money is pouring in on the Broncos. For good reason. I not only think Boise covers, but I like them to win outright.
After going just 13-20 last year and finishing T-7th in the MWC at 7-11, the Broncos are flying under the radar this season. After a rough start that included a blowout loss at Oregon, Boise has responded with 3 straight wins, including OT victories at home against BYU and at Pacific.
New Mexico comes in off a 72-63 win at home against Montana, but failed to cover as a 10-point favorite and are just 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games. Lobos are also just 4-16 ATS last 20 after playing a game at home and 1-4 ATS last 5 as a home favorite of 6.5 points or less. Take Boise State!

NBA | Lakers vs Jazz
Play on: Jazz -2 -110 at Bovada
Take the Utah Jazz minus the points versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Utah (12-9) has lost two straight games as well as four of their last five games with their 103-94 loss at Philadelphia on Monday. The Jazz return home after playing their last four games on the road — and they have covered the point spread in 11 of their last 15 games after losing their last two games on the road. And while Utah has only covered the point spread once in their last four games, they have then failed to cover the point spread in 5 of their last 7 games after covering the point spread in three of their last four games. Los Angeles (18-3) comes off a 105-96 upset win at Denver last night. But the Lakers have then failed to cover the point spread in 5 of their last 7 games after a straight-up win. Los Angeles has also failed to cover the point spread in 4 straight games after a point spread victory. Take Utah minus the points. Best of luck — Frank.

NBA | Lakers vs Jazz
Play on: Jazz -2½ -105 at Bovada
Wednesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Utah minus the points over Los Angeles at 9:05 pm et on Wednesday.
I absolutely LOVE the way this situation sets up for the Jazz. They're coming off back-to-back demoralizing losses, but those both came on the road against the Raptors and 76ers. Now they're back at home where they've gone 8-1 straight-up this season and they catch the Lakers in a favorable spot, playing on no rest, in altitude no less off a big win in Denver last night. Utah will be highly-motivated while the Lakers will be looking to avoid laying an egg. The Jazz are favored for a reason here. Take Utah (8*).

NCAA-B | Ohio State vs North Carolina
Play on: North Carolina -4 -109 at GTBets
10* FREE NCAAB PICK (North Carolina -4)
I'll take my chances here with the Tar Heels laying a short number at home against the Buckeyes. I just think this is too good a price to pass up with UNC at home. Ohio State comes in ranked No. 6 in the country and are off to a perfect 7-0 start.
They do have an impressive 76-51 blowout win over Villanova at home, but I just don't like this spot. Buckeyes didn't play in any of those tournaments over Thanksgiving and have actually not played a game away from home all season.
This a big step in competition from their recent slate that has seen them play Stetson, IUPU-FT Wayne, Kent State and Morgan State over their last 4 and it's always tough playing that first true road game in a new season. Not only do I feel like the Buckeyes are getting a little too much love, I think we are getting a good price on UNC due to them having gone just 1-5 ATS in their last 6.
Tar Heels are 10-2 ATS last 12 home games vs top tier teams that are outscoring opponents by 8+ ppg. Home favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points in a game involving 2 teams that are outscoring opponents by 8+ ppg are 62-29 (68%) ATS if they are coming off a game where they scored 45 or more in the 1st half. Give me North Carolina -4!
