TRACE - When Quinones and Hendriks team up on animals the return on investment has been fantastic at +70. Traditional handicapping angle - 3rd or 4th start after a vacation generally leads to a big effort. Today's the day. A racer coming back this promptly after a good race is a good sign. HIDATSA PARK - I really like that most recent contest on November 25th at Mahoning Valley Race Cour where she finished third. Ran a nice speed figure of 94 on November 4th. Followed it up with another speed fig of 95. Either effort is good enough to beat this bunch. Just check out her most recent speed rating, 95. That one fits well in this group.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 TRUE CINDER (ML=2/1), #3 BELLA DUDETTE (ML=4/1), #8 MUSABAQA (ML=5/1),

TRUE CINDER - This less than sharp equine hasn't been on the track since November 9th. Not even any drills. BELLA DUDETTE - A bit of a less than stellar try when this filly finished fourth. Should have at least hit the board in the last 60 days in a sprint contest to be any kind of value at low odds in a sprint. Earned a common speed figure in the last race in a $25,000 Optional Claiming race on November 4th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that figure. MUSABAQA - Will be tough for this horse to beat this group off of that last speed figure. Doubtful to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's class figure, so put her on the likely underpriced equines list.

MRS. PHELPS - You'll be generating profits right and left by turning your cash onto this jock/handler combination. This filly's last speed rating is good enough to prove victorious here, I'll play her back again this time out. ELL BE EYE - Filly looks like the lone speed here. She may turn the race into a procession. Look for this filly to run much better right here. Last race at Parx Racing finishing fifth on a track listed as good is no indication of her true talent. Ranked number 1 in earnings per race entered. Another indicator that this animal has class.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 PHI LII (ML=7/2), #2 BETTY'S GOT RYTHM (ML=4/1), #7 POSITIVE FORCE (ML=5/1),

PHI LII - This filly almost certainly won't be really close at the finish. BETTY'S GOT RYTHM - The speed ratings are going downward. I'm not betting this questionable contender off of that trend. This steed ran a pedestrian fig last time around the track. She shouldn't improve and will probably lose in today's race running that figure. POSITIVE FORCE - Didn't end up on the board on November 21st after the extended time off. Be doubtful of this thoroughbred this time.

Monday night comp play goes on the Orlando Magic plus the generous points as they play at the Milwaukee Bucks.

Milwaukee comes into this home game having won 14 straight games. The Bucks are 20-3 for the year, and they have also covered in each of their last 4 wins, but tonight they are laying a few points too many against an Orlando team that has also been playing some solid hoops entering action tonight.

The Magic has won 4 in a row straight up and 5 of their last 6 games overall. They have also covered in each of their last 3 and 4 of their last 5 road games this season.

Milwaukee is only 6-5 against the spread on their home court this season, as the oddsmakers have been asking them to cover some pretty big imposts this season at home. The Bucks stand at just 2-6 against the spread when favored between 10 to 14 1/2 points, and while they did rout Orlando by a 123-91 score on November 1st, Orlando did win outright in their last visit to Milwaukee last February.

Not going to call for an outright upset tonight, but this impost is just a little to big for the home team to cover tonight is the way I see it.

Milwaukee's win streak will move to 15 in a row, but the cover tonight belongs to the underdog Magic.
